LET'S LOVE WITHOUT REVENGE.

LET'S LOVE WITHOUT REVENGE.

Oh! To love and think of taking revenge,

Are utterly contemptible as well as contradictory!

The former is enriched with inevitable trust, loyalty and harborage,

While the latter is impoverished with ignoble pretence, perversity and treachery!

Oh! To love and hatch plans to take revenge,

Deprive Its  delightful and benevolent Tree of  greenery, verdure and foliage!

It is sure to be unimaginably withered for lack of the needful unpoisoned nourishment,

For, it is likely to be uprooted for want of care, and due to too poor an anchorage!

Oh! To love and  fancy to suck revengeful blood,

Are despicably deciding to stab one unnoticed with a betrayal sword,

Are undoubtedly inviting a self destructive super cyclone and a devastating flood,

And regrettably kissing a hell, alas, kicking a blissful Heaven of the ever merciful Lord!

Let's, thus, either love not, or love without revenge,

For, revengeful love makes us a devil, while revengeless love, a conscientious Sage!

  2. Well-written poem. Shankar ji, it has come out well with a positive message in this new era. Now a days we hear lot of betrayals, love games, challenges, revenges...and so many type of negativity+filled mental state of some people. Really this poem stands a tall light posts which spreads light on all these undesirables.
Thank you, very much. So nice it is. 👌👏👏💐😍🙏

  4. In an age of getting back at others for slights and hurts.. One thing about love is wisdom, and the first thing about true wisdom is purity and peace. In honesty, your words and style are sometimes hard to follow, but the words within the picture art makes for good reading, and sound advice.
