A TRIBUTE TO VEER VINAYAK SAVARKAR
A TRIBUTE TO VEER VINAYAK SAVARKAR
Yes, you were an enviable epitome of fortitude and self-aplomb,
You were an enticing emblem of rich tribute and encomium,
You were an orator fluent; poet prolific, and freedom fighter par excellence,
Your suns of patriotism will keep shining even in the darkness thick and dense!
In Kala Pani, you courted the most rigorous imprisonment for more than a decade,
Your book shook the White Spines, for it was to ignite India with a Truth bitter and naked!
You showed the seeds of Swedesi, Hindutva and Nationalism; you deemed country's division, a treason,
Behind Bose's formation of the formidable Azad Hind Fauz, your inspiration was the main reason!

TREES' REMINDER TO MEN!
TREES' REMINDER TO MEN!
Oh! Even the orphaned street children are less wretched than we are:
For, they are, at least, under Nature's Motherly love and curative care!
But, alas! No one pays a pitiful glance at our miserable and crippled state,
So, we have finally to shed Seas of neglected tears reconciling to our fallen Fate!
Oh! Even the cats and dogs are less wretched than we are,
For, they are pampered more; fed milk, mutton and fish with more closeness and care,
But, alas! No one's much needed notice falls on our mutilated and fallen beings,
Even though we are the vital Livers of the Earth, including the Lords and the Kings!
Oh! Even the wretchedness is less wretched than we, man's best ever friends, are,
For, She, at least, sometimes catches some kind attentions in this queer and kaleidoscopic Fair;
But, alas! We feel less fortunate on our failure to spare, so far, man's cruelest Axes,
Even if without our inevitable presence the Earth will be replete with the Pandora's Boxes!
Thus, let Trees be most solemnly treated as the only surviving Oxygen of the Earth,
Before it is too late for the innumerable FANI like Mishaps to mar each Life's Mirth!

WHEN CAN WE MOULD OUR CHILD TO REIGN THE WORLD LIKE AN INDOMITABLE KING?
WHEN CAN WE MOULD OUR CHILD TO REIGN THE WORLD LIKE AN INDOMITABLE KING?
Being towards It, unreasonably and undesirably, rude, stern and wild,
Pouring heartlessly the hottest water of scoldings over each of Its minor mistakes,
Ah! Snatching savagely from Its eager tongue sweets, chocolates and cakes!
Let's not put a bitter brake on a Child's invaluable and heavenly Freedom,
Squeezing Its incalculable Potentials; jailing Its jolly moments in the cells of serfdom,
Silencing Its sweetest speeches by our sourest and most scaring cacophony,
Withering each of Its wishes with our ignoble excuses of droughts of money!
Let's not spoil, by our sadistic intrusions, the fair play of an innocent child,
Let Its spontaneous growth never be stunted; and for petty reasons It be riled!
Let It ever be liberated to fly like a free, flapping and fluttering bird,
Let Its heart never be hurt, and Its Joys be marred, murdered and tarred!
Then only can we see a Child blooming more brightly than the flowers of a Spring,
And smile blithely for having moulded It to reign the world like an indomitable King!
