AN APPEAL TO ALL MY BRETHREN

Let's not sow anywhere on earth the seeds of spite and hatred,

Let's not snatch from the mouths of the hungry their life sustaining bread,

Let's not do anything that forces our forefathers to feel battered and betrayed;

Let's foster peace, control our inordinate greed, and love the mankind instead!

Let's not hatch anywhere on earth the eggs of envy, wrath and intolerance,

Let's not unwrap and spill the Pandora's Boxes to patronize war and promote nuisance,

Let's not do anything that Shylocks cut their pounds of flesh, and, Antonios bleed to death;

Let's shun violence, seek solace, restore humanity and revive in Ahimsa Faith!

Let's not anywhere on earth paralyze our Conscience by the Anaesthesia of insensitivity,

Let's not imprison Ram, and empower the unruly Ravan to rule to imperil Justice and Chastity,

Let's not spit the venoms of communalism, racism, fanaticism, expansionism and terrorism,

Spoiling the social fabrics of fraternity, harmony, cooperation, trust secularism and enthusiasm,

Let's, for God's sake, not dethrone Virtue and enthrone Vice mistaking hell for heaven;

Let's all save this unique Creation from being burnt to ash before it's too late, O my brethren!
