YES, WHO ELSE CAN BE SUCH AN ADORABLE LIAR?

YES, WHO ELSE CAN BE SUCH AN ADORABLE LIAR?

She wakes up much before the dawn

And sweats toiling even long after sun goes down the horizon!

She is a big and useful book of moral lesson for all to read and learn,

Her art to lie eagerly to save many from reproach or humiliation!

She starves, but voluntarily and generously serves the dishes

Until the gluttonous children are more than satisfied or overfed,

The greedy in-laws say "Our hunger is over, so nothing else is needed."

And to her Mr.'s query, "Is there anything left for you?" smilingly says she "Yes"!

She wilfully dares to face the music:

If the cat licks away all the milk for daughter's carelessness

Or, the son is plucked in Mathematics and has scored in order subjects less,

Or, the drunk husband scolds her parents for more dowry, and beats her with no logic!

Alas! She is an easy prey to her sister in laws' irrelevant criticism,

A constant victim of her sadistic mother in law's heckling and cynicism!

Alas! She is such a tireless engine that ever runs without complaint or blast,

She always lies with reliable excuses so that peace and happiness in family may last!

Yes, who else can be such an adorable liar that is loved most in society,

And is unconditionally blessed to attain salvation and beat mortality!
