Let's be in the world like the pure and detached leaves of the Lotus,
Without being either involved a bit, or affected by its misleading impetus!
Let the free, unretrained and unchecked world have its usual say,
But, let's stick to our own way to be content, and keep sorrows at bay!
Lo! If we lose the tight, but vulnerable grip over our priceless concentrations,
We must fall preys to the annoying anxieties, and terrible tensions;
Very similar to Antonio's in William Shakespeare's 'The Merchant Of Venice',
And, consequently, we can never relish the taste of platonic happiness in life's Tennis!
Let's be logically and reasonably, in our efforts, something different,
Let's put always to our honest endeavours, hundred and one percent;
Then, the world must savour to its brim our success blossoms' scent,
But, from the start till the end, we must be perseverant, patient and persistent!
Then, we can see our harshest critics turn to be our sweetest admirers,
And, they will salute us with Love, and greet us saying, " Hats off to you and three cheers!"
