THE NATURE OF TRUE LOVE
THE NATURE OF TRUE LOVE: QUATRAIN - 1
Can the tumultuous turbulence of a terrific Tempest tilt a bit,
The smoothly and steadily sailing ship of true Love at life's main;
That's ever unchained, unperturbed, unmoved, and never fleet,
On the sourest shore, by the bitterest bite or under Covid 19's enigmatic pain?
Can the Nectar of true Love ever be poisoned or profaned by the carnal pollutants,
That are wantonly and unrestrainably rampant, O the odious, equine descendants?
Ney, never at all, for It falls from the two heavenly hearts desireless and pure,
It's stainless and unaffected even by the saltiest torrents on life's roughest shore!
Can the beacon of true Love be put out by the horrible hurricanes of social taboos?
Can Its Peace pouring Panacea ever be spoiled by the evil-eyed sorcerers' voodoos?
Can Its unbudging steadiness and loyalty like that of the Pole Star ever be charged or changed?
Or can Its ecstatic sweetness ever be adulterated and Its inimitable chastity ever be challenged?
