In thy chaste heart's Eden garden all through the seasons;
Whilst thou hast ruthlessly been tried oftener than Sita sans reasons,
Let alone praises and accolades from me, a votary of lust and flesh!
 
This is why, Oh my Love, thou art greater and better than I,
Which is enviably extolled by heaven, then who am I to defy?

मेरे प्रिय! मैंने हमेशा तुम्हारे कर्तव्य और भूमिका को प्यार किया है,
जबकि तुमने बिना शर्त मेरी आत्मा से प्यार किया है।
तुम्हारा निस्वार्थ प्यार हमेशा मेरी कमियों और दोषों को अनदेखा करता है,
जबकि मैंने तुम्हारी कमियों को बढ़ा-चढ़ाकर बताया है और तुम्हें समुद्र की कंकड़ियों की तरह बर्ताव किया है।
 
तुमने मेरी गलतियों से ताज़े फूलों की सुगंध ली है,
