Eight weeks is the minimum age pups should leave for new homes. It's very important that they remain with their mother and littermates until seven-and-a-half to eight weeks of age. Puppies go through five critical periods. During the first three weeks of their life, puppies have next to no mental capacity and their basic needs are provided for by their mother. Little or no handling by humans is required (assuming all is well with the mother and puppies). Around the fourth week, puppies become aware of other living beings. This is an extremely critical period and puppies should not be separated from their mother or littermates, Introduction to humans should be started. Weeks five through seven, they begin socialisation within the litter and also with humans. At this point, they are capable of responding to voices and recognising people. Training by their mother is in progress and they are becoming aware of the differences between human and canine socialisation. On 19th December 1927, Ashfaqulla Khan was hanged to death at district jail Faizabad for the Kakori train robbery case. The whole country protested against the death sentences. Petitions were made to the Viceroy to change the death sentence into a life sentence. Even the Privy Council was approached. The British imperialism was however, thirsting for the blood of the Indian revolutionaries. When Ashfaq was brought to gallows he said, "My hands are not soiled with the murder of man, God will give me justice." He then prayed to the almighty and went down the plank on which he stood after the hangman's noose came around his neck.

Ashfaq's devotion to the cause of freedom made him the foremost among those who gave their lives to win the freedom of the country.
