Q II. In about 200 words write on any ONE of the following compositions [15]

a. Horrors of War

Ans. War is a devastating phenomenon that brings suffering and destruction to humanity. It causes immense loss of life, property, and infrastructure, leaving deep scars on individuals and communities. Innocent civilians, including women and children, are often caught in the crossfire, and soldiers are forced to fight and die.

The effects of war are far-reaching and long-lasting. Homes are destroyed, families are torn apart, and communities are displaced. The environment and infrastructure are also severely damaged, making it difficult for people to live and study.

War also has a profound impact on the mental health of those affected. Survivors often suffer from trauma, anxiety, and depression, which can last a lifetime. Moreover, war hinders economic growth and development, perpetuating poverty and inequality.

In conclusion, war is a horrific and senseless act that brings suffering to all parties involved. We should strive for peaceful solutions to conflicts, promoting diplomacy and understanding.

b. Travelling in Public Bus

Ans. Travelling in a public bus is a common experience for many of us. It's a great way to see the city and meet new people. You get to witness the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and sometimes, even make new friends.

As you travel, you observe the city's landscape, noticing the tall buildings, busy markets, and vibrant street life. You may also encounter interesting fellow passengers, each with their own story to tell.

However, travelling in a public bus can also be challenging. It can be crowded and chaotic, especially during peak hours. You have to be careful with your belongings and follow the rules.

Despite these challenges, travelling in a public bus is a valuable experience. It teaches us patience, adaptability, and social skills. It's also an affordable and environmentally friendly way to travel, making it a popular choice for many.

c. Laziness

Ans. Laziness is a bad habit that can hold us back from achieving our goals. When we're lazy, we don't want to do anything, and we waste our time. This can lead to problems in our studies, work, and personal life.

Laziness can also lead to missed opportunities and regret. When we procrastinate, we fail to take advantage of chances that could have improved our lives. To overcome laziness, we need to be disciplined and motivated.

We should set goals and work towards them, one step at a time. Breaking tasks into smaller, manageable chunks can make them less daunting. Finding a study buddy or accountability partner can also help.

By developing good habits and a growth mindset, we can overcome laziness and achieve great things. It's not easy, but with practice and perseverance, we can succeed.
