If the chefs, in a dazzling seven star Hotel's kitchen, gaily,but, alas, vainly stand,
To cook, who're recruited and paid lavishly, not on the basis of their knowledge,
But, their Reservation Quotas have conferred upon them that special privilege!
Please say honestly, how many, will a country win, most coveted Gold Diadems,
In Pierre de Coubertin's founded world's most popular Olympic Games,
If the athletes are chosen, not on their present best performance and merit,
But, on the plea, they belong to a Reserved Class, and the Quota Privilege they inherit!
Please say honestly, how many pupils can make their and their country's Fate bright,
Who are taught, not by those who had passed on merits and highest percentages,
But, by those, who had seized their jobs showing their 'Reservation Badges'?
Who can say then, in the stratagem of politics, what is wrong and what is right?
Please say honestly, how many patients will return their homes healthy and cured,
If the doctors, who attend them on, had their responsible posts procured,
Not because they had topped the list of eligible the Medical Entrance Examinees,
But, because of their Reservation Magics, they had pushed behind more meritorious cronies!
Please say honestly, where will the passengers in a flight reach, if the pilots are hired;
Not on the basis of "How much they have studied, scored and perspired,
But, because, they simply possess the infallible Reservation passes?
Then, if Reservation System is a boon or a curse, you have to feel and assess!
Please say honestly, whither will a country certainly head,
Where the Legislative, the Executive and the Judiciary, the Reservation Systems lead;
Less emphasis is on education, efficiency and eligibility,
And more stress on discrimination, disqualification, and disability!
Please say honestly, how much success can a country achieve in Space Science,
If in the selection of the Astronauts, the Reservation System kills Conscience?
How many Moon, Sun and Mars missions can be bagged into the nation's pockets,
Where the Astronauts' talent and calibre matter less than the Reservation Rockets!
Please say honestly, when will the common people of a country will get justification,
And relish the sweetest taste of freedom and emancipation,
where politics, power and paisa determine the course of actions,
Where Hill stations are misconceived of as the Space Stations,
