LET'S TAKE AN OATH ON THE EVE OF OUR AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV.

Let's all Indians take a solemn oath

On the eve of our Azadi ka diamond jubilee:

We will love all, and will none loathe,

We will toil honestly that misery must flee;

We will give priority to the country first,

We will live with dignity to win others ' trust;

We will make India free from corruption,

We will be the pillars of her transformation;

We will encourage afforestation to check pollution,

We will discourage arms race and nuclear proliferation;

We will do away with dogma, prejudice, extremism and superstition,

To any stiffest problem anywhere in the world India will be the best solution;

In the field of science and technology we will make India unrivalled,

In the production of food grains we will shape India unparallelled;

We will eliminate poverty and eradicate ignorance,

We will turn adversity into prosperity, and calamity into a chance;

We will remain a symbol of peace, harmony and brotherhood,

Notwithstanding, we can punish our foes, and uproot their tribes for good.

Should we take this oath: "We are Indians who will live for India and can die for her,

No force, however strong, can stop India from becoming the next Super Power!"
