O GOD! HOW CAN WE WHINE AT YOU?

O God! How can we whine at You, Who has brought me to a world of light,

Who has blessed us with beautiful parents, loving siblings and kind kinsmen,

Who has created the delightful days for us to sweat for breads, and to rest at night,

Who has gifted us with the four major seasons like the Summer, Winter and Rain!

O God! How can we whimper at You, because of Whom the Sun is hot at noon,

Because of Whom seems ever so serene, silvery and shining the Full Moon,

Because of Whom the sugar canes are born sweet, and the tamarinds taste too sour,

Because of Whom a million hearts smile gaily in the presence of a charming flower!

O God! How can we whinge against You,  Whose Grace has engineered the Universe,

Whose Mercy ever spurs the towering waves of the fathomless seas to sprightly dance,

Whose Compassion compels the demons of calamities to desert the earth,

Whose Bounty is indispensable for all to relish birth's beauty, and life 's mirth!

*Whinge - to express dissatisfaction, pain, or resentment usually tiresomely
