Some Tips To prepare a precis:
1)Don’t begin to write at once,give yourself time
2)Read the passage minimum twice
3)Make a note of the important characters,events,places,the different aspects in the passage
3)Look at the question asked
4)They always quiz you on anyone of the aspects of the Comprehension
5)Make short and simple sentences
6)Avoid conjunctions
7)Use Active voice(as we have to use more words in the passive voice)
8)Use one word for (a person who lies abroad for the good of his country-an ambassador)
9)Use prefixes(not able-unable)
10Put the punctuation marks in the same box where the sentence ends
