Alas! Bitter memories bring biting, bleak and gloomy sullenness;

They naggingly relive the forgettable bygone blasting days,

They nigglingly burn and pain beings like the scorching rays,

They sadly remind how firmly clung once an unwanted Wilderness!

Wow! Sweet memories swing forth sugariness as the vernal breeze;

They fondly replay like a recorded movie to enthuse and please,

They effect, as the relishing showers revive, refresh and revitalize,

Oh! They swell the infinite exultation, and the sour sorrows cease!

Ah! Humorous memories make us smile, chuckle and laugh;

They serve to reduce the hot loads of burden like an Ac’s flap,

They help to forget the gnawing strains of the anxieties and worries,

They are surely as delicious and delectable as the seasoned curries!

Some memories are self-made; some scripted by the inevitable Circumstances!

Let’s write such stories today as will return morrow as Happy Remembrances!

 Morrow – tomorrow
