SDM'S QUATRAIN TWO ON "THE BEST TRIBUTE TO SARDAR PATEL, THE IRON MAN OF INDIA"

GOOD EVENING.

Please share this QUATRAIN. Tq.

AN EXAMPLE OF TWO MOST OBEDIENT DISCIPLES!

AN EXAMPLE OF TWO MOST OBEDIENT DISCIPLES!
There lived a Sage in an ashram, where lived his two obedient disciples,
He was, with utmost reverence, called 'Guruji' by them, the symbols of scruples!
The Guruji felt proud of the duo's sincerity, loyalty and devotion,
Who used to listen to their Guruji's sermons with an ardent avidity and rapt attention!

THE BEST TRIBUTE TO SARDAR PATEL, THE IRON MAN OF INDIA

THE BEST TRIBUTE TO SARDAR PATEL, THE IRON MAN OF INDIA

What else could be as great an instance as of a  rarest patriot minus any personal or political ambition,
Who, most humbly and silently abiding by the biased veto whip of the Father of the Nation without the slightest hesitation,
Sacrificed the most prestigious Chair of India's first Prime Minister, replicating Lord Shri Ram's noble Tradition,
To please his most obstinate and power hungry younger brother, who, out of CWC's 15 votes,  had, sarcastically, won none?

What else could be as stiff a challenge for the 1st Home Minister, as to unify with India's territory 550 plus Princely States,
By applying his inimitable astuteness, political acumen, convincing calibre, diplomatic dexterity and boldness;
Soon after the British government transferred powers to us, the Indians,
Bringing an end, once and for all, to a long history of more than a thousand years of foreign Reigns?

Had Patel not deemed the interests of the country far above his own like most others,
He could not have sanctified his birth, nor could he have gained the love of the million Indian sisters and brothers,
Nor would he have been called so fondly, proudly and venerably "The Iron Man of the country,
Nor could he have forced his bitterest political critics to feel finally pinched and guilty for their decision, against him, immoral and arbitrary!

Thus, what can be the best ever Tribute to the immortal and unforgettable Soul of Sardar Patel,
If we can unanimously acknowledge in a chorus "India got truly integrated due to Patel's laudable strategy, endeavour, sacrifice and mettle?

SDM'S QUATRAIN ON "I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THAT DIWALI NIGHT."

GOOD EVENING.

Please share this QUATRAIN. TQ.

O DEAR BIJUJI! THOU DOST MAKE A KIND COMEBACK.

O DEAR BIJUJI! THOU DOST MAKE A KIND COMEBACK.

O dear Bijuji! The adept and prudent Architect of a Modern Odisha,
We most sincerely pray thee to make a kind and considerate comeback;
For, thy heart-wrenching absence has turned the forlorned sky of Odisha cloudy and dark,
Ah! Thou wert not less daring and caring to Odisha than to India, Sardar Patelji!

O dear Bijuji! We are immensely owed and thankful to thee;
For, thou wert the venerable visionary JRD of a Modern Odisha!
Who else could be, to us like thee, so much pivotal and worthy?
Ah! Who else could make Odisha so much self-sufficient and healthy?

O dear Bijuji! We, most profoundly, love and honour thee;
For, thou wert, undoubtedly, the golden Gleam of a Modern Odisha!
Who else was so much blessed, like thee, with such a silver spoon in his mouth?
Ah! Who else was adored and needed, like the Polestar, from the North to the South?

O dear Bijuji! We, most solemnly, respect and salute thee;
For, thou wert the proud Retainer of a rare and resplendent dual Citizenship!
Who can think of paying thee back thy immeasurable and invaluable dues?
Ah! Who else could adorn the Captions better and oftener for Odisha News?

O dear Bijuji! We, so sorely, sourly and sullenly miss thee;
For, thou wert to the whole of Odisha, the most darling Bapuji!
Who else can make up for, left by you, the deepest void and the saddest vacuum?
Ah! Who else can own thy unmatched dexterity and thy enviable equilibrium?

O dear Bijuji! We, most optimistically and wistfully, beckon to thee;
For, thou wert, undeniably, the glorious Pride and dignity of Mother Odisha!
Mayest, thou thus pass thy luminous legacy to the million deserving Successors,
Who can toil like thee, and die for Odisha, to retrieve Her priceless missing Pearls.

O dear Bijuji! We, most humbly, fondly and heartily, beseech thee;
O one of the most booned and favoured Sons of Mother Odisha,
To have a gracious and precious glance at thy bereaved and bewildered Mother!
Lo! How bitterly She wails! Who else can clear Her worrying and overcast weather?

O dear Bijuji! We, most lovingly and fervently, embrace thee;
For, thou wert the loyal, dauntless and unrivalled Lion of a Modern Odisha!
Who else could roar like thee for the greater gains of the deprived Odia?
Ah! Who else from Odisha’s politics can better embellish, like thee, today's Wikipedia?

O dear Bijuji! We, most earnestly, request thee to make a kind comeback;
For, thou wert the Pioneer in laying the foundation stone of a Modern Odisha!
Thus, unless thou dost make a benevolent, much solicited and long awaited return,
None else can, indeed, give Odisha a fitter identity as well as a sweeter recognition!

N.B: (Late) Biju Pattnaik, was the former Chief Minister of Odisha, a state in India.

* Sardar Patelji – the first Home Minister of India, known as the Iron Man of India
* JRD – Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata, the doyen of India’s industrial growth
* Bapuji – Mohandas Karamchand Gandhiji, the Father of the Nation, India
* dual Citizenship –Biju Pattnaik was given a honorary citizenship and awarded "Bhoomi putra" the highest Indonesian award, rarely granted to a foreigner, because of his daring act of rescuing and saving the lives of Sutan Sjahrir, the Indonesian Nationalist and Prime Minister.

SDM'S QUATRAIN ONE ON "TO THE CAPTIVATING SMILES OF MY FAIR LOVE"

GOOD EVENING.

Please share this QUATRAIN. Tq.

TO THE CAPTIVATING SMILES OF MY FAIR LOVE

TO THE CAPTIVATING SMILES OF MY FAIR LOVE

O my fair Love! The captivating smiles of your kindling kind,
Do ruffle the unbudging composure of my austerest mind;
They irresistibly invite me for a rapturous and relishing kiss,
And assure shyly a million times for an exhilarating bliss!

O my Shakespeare's dark lady in the sweetest heart and the fairest skin!
To be blessed with your rarest love, who wouldn't commit the severest sin,
Who wouldn't, like the Greek hero Jason, venture to win the modern Medea's golden fleece,
Who wouldn't wage even his costliest possessions to be bestowed with your blithe hugs' solace?

O my fair Love! Your captivating smiles do relieve me of a deep dash of despondence,
They release into me incalculable gushes of energy, enthusiasm and freshness,
They remove my annoying fatigue, despair and insomnia in a flash of a moment,
As I pluck them gently to wreathe a garland, more precious than the Taj Monument!

Surely, but keeping my name anonymous lest others might feel jealous.
