A SOLEMN PRAYER TO GODDESS DURGA
O Maa Durga! You are the holy Clone of Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Mahesh:
You powered the inordinate pride and terror of the Buffalo Demon, fighting for a span of ten days,
You liberated the tyrannized Heaven, the Earth and the Underworld by Your miraculous Grace,
As a result, You deserved all gods' sincerest obeisance, and the showers of applause and praise!
O Maa Durga! With Your bottomless Grace, the lame can effortlessly walk as well as scale the loftiest mountains,
The feeblest can valiantly conquer the stongest, and incredibly access the invisible domains,
The poorest can overcome poverty to rule unrivalled in the realm of the richest,
The barren and bleak deserts can transform themselves into green and gravid forests!
