WHO WILT NOT EULOGIZE THY BEAUTY, O MY DEAR?
WHO WILT NOT EULOGIZE THY BEAUTY, O MY DEAR?
O my dear! Beauty, like a Lotus at Sunrise, blooms here on thy softest cheeks,
From thy smiling, capturing eyes, days and nights, Beauty unblinkingly winks!
Thy lithe, crimson lips fondly recount an unending saga of engaging Beauty,
To take care of thy captivating features fairies are sincerely engrossed in their Duty!
O my dear! Thy lustrous Beauty like a refulgent Star shines serenely in my heart's dancing Lake;
To listen to the sweetest serenades of thy smiles, my delirious heart is forever awake!
The wafting aroma of thy matchless innocence oozes around me the entrancing perfumes of Jasmine,
Before thee, even the most beautiful Beauties of the universe fail to catch the gaping attention of mine!
O my dear! Thou art, indeed, a unique amalgamation of virtue, vivacity and veracity;
That, irrefutably, takes to an enviable pinnacle, thy inner as well as outer Beauty,
That smooches my spirits; and deepens my love for thee, as does nectar a butterfly,
As the merciful showers gladly glue together the rapturous Earth and the wondrous Sky!
That prompts all the devotees of Beauty to eulogize, extol, exalt and glorify,
How can I dare to be an exception to them, my dear, to either contradict or defy?

O GOD! THIS IS MY WISH.
O GOD! THIS IS MY WISH.
O God! Let me never wish to pluck any inaccessible Moons of impossibility,
Let me never think of anything that causes remorse, or steals mental equanimity,
Let me never dare to do anything that augments, at length, infertility and futility,
Rather, let me pray to ever pursue what pours Peace, and mingles me with Divinity!
O God! Let me never wish to look for the prettiest pearls in the dry deserts of sands,
Let me not scale the snowy Everest tops to collect the red Roses to wreathe in garish garlands,
Let me not chase the most misleading mirages to see my day dreams come instantly true,
Rather, let me rely on Divine deeds, and walk the toughest roads of rectitude to reap, at last, Beatitude!
O God! Let me never wish to be the best friend being actually a sworn foe,
Let me never say anyone "Glad to meet you!" when I mean inside "The better, the sooner you go!"
Let me never defend injustice, inequality, indecency and impropriety with my loathful wit,
Rather, I should ever be guided by Conscience, or I must pay more before ceases my heartbeat!
O God! Let me never wish to relish the rotten caracasses of the corrupt Power,
As a voracious vulture devours with the utmost greed to its heart's content!
Let me never munch innocent lives like a blood thirsty ogre,
Rather, let me love sainthood, and lead a virtuous life, before it's too late to repent!
O God! Let me never wish to commit, under the garb of patriotism, a treacherous treason,
Let me never, under the robe of being an evangelist or a prophet, dog in debauchery or dereliction!
Let me never pretend, like a hypocrite, to be the king Harischandra, under the hood of being savage tiger,
Rather, let me ever follow the path of honesty, integrity, purity and veracity not to shed the sourest tear!
O God! Let me never wish to feed on the food of compulsions and reluctancy,
Let me never wander in the winding, miry, and carnal world to squander my currency,
Let me never be snared and swindled by the sweet, fatal baits of temptation,
Rather, let me be controlled, continent and content not to be deprived of Salvation!

TO MY LIFE'S EVER VERNAL SPRING!
TO MY LIFE'S EVER VERNAL SPRING!
O my life's ever vernal Spring!
In thy mellifluous tone, I ever overhear a rapt and rapturous Koyel sing,
Thy candid and pristine heart, doth instantly to me a heavily bliss, bring,
Thus, thou art enthroned, O the elysian Queen of this unseen and unsung King!
O my life's ever Vernal Spring!
Thy resplendent Aura hath wrought all around a lavish, lush and luxuriant Ring!
Perpetual greenery reigns; and a boundless Mirth dances and revels in my life's succulent garden;
For, due to thee, an inexhaustibly ecstatic ejaculation of glee and serenity turns my drab world a heaven!

PLANTS' PLAINTS
Oh! It is enough.
Ah! It is too much.
Ouch! It is beyond forbearance.
O the senseless, insensible humans
Have pity on us.
Don’t exploit us any more
Don’t jab us any more
Don’t chop us any more
Don’t cut us any more
Don’t fell us any more
Don’t uproot us any more
Don’t kill us any more
Don’t cripple us any more
Don’t saw us any more
Don’t torture us any more
Don’t stifle us any more
Don’t petrify us any more
Don’t flummox us any more
Don’t bewilder and befuddle us any more…..
All of you know well
We don’t have animals’ feet to run, dodge and escape
The wings of the birds to flit, flutter, fly and evade
The fins and scales of the fishes to swim, dive and save.
Again, in our cavillous, paralyzing and dying throes
We can’t shriek, scream and squirm like you
Squall, cavort or caper like a bird
Yell, squeal, yip and wriggle like a beast
To convey our grievance and our distress
To grumble, groan, resent, remonstrate and demonstrate
To attract or snatch attention
To steal or win over sympathy
To politicize the matter
For our survival against our premature, reluctant genocide!
Thus, we are helpless and forlorn
Totally, at the disposal of your mercy.
Don’t you know
We are your only unpaid benefactors
Your well-wishers, caretakers and saviours?
We protect and help you in a million ways:
We are your vital lungs
We fill your bellies
Furnish you with clothings
Provide shelters
Care your countless illnesses
Run the Cycles of Nature
Ensure all requisites for your smooth survival.
Still, you never heed to our pain
For, we make not our agony vociferous like others
Yet, we feel the same pangs like them
We bewail after being wounded, bereaved or slaughtered.
Volumes in varied forms are written on us
Awareness programmes are staged across the globe
Van- Mahotsavs are observed ostensibly every year
Billions are splurged on the Govt-NGO organizations
But, alas, to no avail!
For, you are self-centric and heartless
Avarice has turned you altogether blind, deaf and dumb
Beckoning your own destruction and the Planet’s as well…..
But, it is our last endeavour
To convince you and persuade
To make you feel the gravity of your goof
The intensity and monstrosity of its ends.
Now it is upto you O the impoverished, audacious and frenzied mortals
To plant, protect and nourish us;
To thing for the mutual welfare,
Or, to perish along with all forever and forever……

WHEN WILL THE SOULS OF OUR MARTYRS REST IN PEACE?
PLEASE SHARE THIS POEM.
WHEN WILL THE SOULS OF OUR MARTYRS REST IN PEACE?
Alas! Some left their Innocent Foetuses forever orphaned,
Some left their wretched Infants forever abandoned,
Some left their unfortunate wives untimely forever widowed,
And some left their sunny worlds at noon forever shadowed!
Alas! Some groping hands lost, forever, their supporting Sticks,
Some poor pillars lost, forever, their building upholding bricks,
Some brightening Bulbs lost, forever, their fluorescent Filaments,
Some staggering Legs lost, forever, their life sustaining Ligaments!
Alas! The Indian Army lost, forever, Its valorous and chivalrous Jawans,
Mother India lost, forever, Her selfless and sacrificing Sons,
All the country men lost, forever, their brave and praiseworthy brothers,
From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, there will fall only sour Tear-Showers!
But, when will the Souls of our Martyrs rest in permanent Peace?
Only when the 'Traitors' are defaced, and 'Treachery" is pushed, forever, to perish.

O MY LOVE! WHO DARE SAY YOU ARE LESS BEAUTIFUL?
O MY LOVE! WHO DARE SAY YOU ARE LESS BEAUTIFUL?
O my Love! Who dare say you are less beautiful:
Your beauty shines not like the Full Moon silvery, enchanting and cool,
Your beauty lacks the elegance and charms of Wordsworth's dancing daffodils,
And, your beauty, feeds not my hungry hugs, nor my heart beats steals?
O my Love! Who dare say your hair glistens not like the ebony feathers of an indian koyel,
Your enchanting eyes glow not like the brightest La Peregrina Pearl,
Your Cherubin cheeks well not up the cheerful waters in Nestor's dullest heart,
And, your tulip chin beats not even Michelangelo's most beautiful art?

A SONNET THAT ALL VALENTINES WOULD LOVE TO HUM!
A SONNET THAT ALL VALENTINES WOULD LOVE TO HUM!
Your curly, cascading hair coaxes and caresses me,
Your placid, pacifying plaits do pamper me,
Your flashy, fascinating forehead fondles me,
Your bewitching, breezy brows do baffle me!
Your exuberant, electrifying eyes enchant me,
Your glittering, glazing glance ever gloats me,
Your nice, nibbling nose nudges and numbs me,
Your lovely, lithe lips lustrously lull and lure me!
Your mellow, melodious mouth mesmerizes me,
Your fine, flashy, fluorescent face flattens me,
Your chaste, chuckling chest charms me,
Your goggling, gaping grasp galvanizes me!
Your hushing, hearty hug hypnotizes me,
Your beautiful, bejeweled being becomes one with me!
