YOUR LIVING MEMORY

YOUR LIVING MEMORY

O my Love! Your living memory haunts me ever as the dawn calls the Sun,

To be kissed, hugged and bound blissfully by his sacred love forever;

And the night beckons the Moon to be sweetly wounded by his pacifying penetration,

Followed by, upon his cosy and captivating couch of the chest, a soothing slumber!

O my Love! Your living memory, like a healing balm, assures me to forget,

The himalayan heaps of hardships, and the bottomless pains of the Pacific Ocean,

As the warmth and caressing comforts of the Spring wipe like a nurse the tears of the Rain,

And a miraculous touch of the magnet incredibly changes a piece of poor, drab iron's fate!

O my Love! Your living memory, like the magical powers of Athena, blesses me to be victorious,

It entitles me to rule over the world unrivalled, fortified with the offering of Hera, generous,

And it gifts your Paris, as Aphrodite, to have the love of the fairest Fairy on the earth, O precious

Thus, nothing remains to be sought after and granted in life, O my Sweetheart inoblivious!

* Athena, also spelled Athene, in Greek religion, the city protectress, goddess of war, handicraft, and practical reason, identified by the Romans with Minerva. She was essentially urban and civilized, the antithesis in many respects of Artemis, goddess of the outdoors.

*Hera, in ancient Greek religion, a daughter of the Titans Cronus and Rhea, sister-wife of Zeus, and queen of the Olympian gods. ... In general, Hera was worshipped in two main capacities: (1) as consort of Zeus and queen of heaven and (2) as goddess of marriage and of the life of women.

*Aphrodite is the ancient Greek goddess of sexual love and beauty, identified with Venus by the Romans. She was known primarily as a goddess of love and fertility and occasionally presided over marriage.

*inoblivious - unforgettable
