TO MY SPRIGHTLY SPRITE OF FANTASY
O my sprightly Sprite of Fantasy!
Every night,
I grasp you tight!
At your shiny, serene sight,
Stunned darkness dazzles more than light!
O my ebullient Sprite of Fantasy!
You suckle my heaving heart's appetite,
So much sugary, supple and rare delight,
That beneath our relishing, celestial flight,
Lies buried forgotten every pain and plight,
For, we inhabit then an Eden of euphoria pristine, serene and blissful forever,
And our life of infinite happiness leaps past the edge of Heaven like a perennial river!
