YES, LIFE IS TOO SHORT......

Yes, one's life is too short:

To overcome the hurdles in ambush against one's own lot,

To feed the hungry, and provide a homeless family a tent,

To march from the cradle to the grave like a flawless saint,

Let alone, being pinched unprovoked, lodge an FIR or a police complaint!

Yes, one's life is too short:

To fulfill one's precious promises made to God before life did start,

To be the smiles of the crying, and hopes for the dying and unfortunate,

To be a prop of the crippled, and a healing balm for the wounded and hurt,

Let alone whine, being duped by the kins, in the Almighty's impartial Court!

Yes, one's life is too short:

To watch the emerald seas and pluck pearls from the deepest oceans,

To swim in the rippling rivers and joyfully get wet in the soothing rains,

To look at the crimson dawns, the blazing noons and the silvery Moons,

To glance at the golden fields, frolicking calves, and praise the divine boons,

Let alone carp, like Karens, over the inevitable losses and unavoidable pains!
