ପଢ଼ିବା ଆମେ ପାଠ ॥

ଆସରେ ଆସ ଭାଇ-ଭଉଣୀ 

ପଢ଼ିବା ଆମେ ପାଠ, 

ପଢ଼ି ଶିଖିଲେ ଜାଣିବା ସବୁ 

ଦିଶିବ ନୂଆ ବାଟ ॥

ଦେଶ ବିଦେଶ କଥା ଜାଣିବା 

ଲେଖିବା ଶିଖି ଚିଠି, 

ଟଙ୍କା ପଇସା ଗଣି ଶିଖିବା 

ଅଡୁଆ ଯିବ ତ୍ରୁଟି ॥

ଖଟାଇ ବୁଦ୍ଧି କରିବା ଆମେ 

ହିସାବ ବସି ବସି,

ମୁରୁଖ ବୋଲି  ଅଧିକ ଟଙ୍କା 

ନେବନି କିଏ କଷି ॥ 

ଛୁଇଁବା ନାହିଁ ନିଶା ଦରବ

କରିବା ନାହିଁ ହିଂସା, 

ସତ ପଥରେ  ଚାଲିବା ସଦା 

ବୁଡ଼ିବି ଗଲେ ହଂସା ॥

କୋଟ କଚେରୀ ମାଡ଼ିବା ନାହିଁ 

କହିବା ସତ କଥା,

ପରଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଜୀବନ ଦେବା   

ଚାଲିବା ଟେକି ମଥା ॥

ଆମରି ପାଇଁ ଯାହା ସୁବିଧା 

ଜାଣିବା ଗୋଟି ଗୋଟି, 

ସେ ସବୁ ନୀତି ସଫଳ ପାଇଁ 

ଯିବାନି କେବେ ହଟି ॥

କରିବା ଚାଷ ସମବାୟରେ 

ସଭିଏଁ ମିଳିମିଶି, 

ତେବେ ତ ଯାଇଁ ଧରଣୀ ମାଆ 

ଉଠିବ ଦିନେ ହସି ॥

ଆସରେ ଆସ ଭାଇ-ଭଉଣୀ

ପଢ଼ିବା ଆସ ପାଠ, 

ନୂଆ ଦୁନିଆ  ଗଢ଼ିବା ଆମେ 

ନଥିବ ଯହିଁ ଫାଟ ॥

WE SHALL STUDY. 
 
O dear brothers and sisters,
Let’s get ready and study our lessons
For, studies will lead us to knowledge
And knowledge will open up myriad new ways!
 
Studying, we can know about the native and foreign lands
We can learn to write different letters and applications
We can, without errors, count money with our own hands
And we’ll no longer face the problems and complications
 
Applying our brains we can calculate
We can maintain accuracy without being late!
Yes, no one can again dare to consider us fools
For, we’ll be fail-safe giants in calculation rules!
 
We’ll, from intoxicants, refrain ourselves
We’ll keep violence at bay
We’ll walk the truthful path night and day
No matter we may have to embrace graves!
 
We’ll speak the truth under all situations
We’ll bid a bye to the courts and police stations
We’ll sacrifice our lives for others
We’ll walk with heads held high through all weathers!
 
Studying, we’ll come to know what is good for us
And, we can feel too what is most useful to us
We’ll never give up the moral values and principles
For our all round growth and success, inevitable tools!
 
The aids of the cooperatives availing
Together we’ll cultivate and do farming
We’ll change the fate of the mother earth
She’ll be seen smiling out of extreme mirth!
 
O dear brothers and sisters,
Let’s get ready and study our lessons
So that we can make a dream world
Without tensions and minus divisions!
