WHOM TO TRUST?
Ah! A pathetic and piteous voice, the Class Teacher heard,
While he was teaching Chemistry in the second period!
It was Karun who, like a swishing and swelling flood,
Raised his delirious and uneasy head gradually upward!
Then, the Teacher, saying, “What is the matter, my dear?”
Approached the ever innocent and sobbing pupil near!
As soaked and blotted his written papers with his bitter beads of
tear,
Said he, “Sir, intense is my Stomach-ache, ouch! I am unable to
bear!”
Melting like the soft butter by Karun’s stomach-ache drama heat,
Teacher did caress his back and give him a New Guest’s Treat!
Without any home-work, teacher instantly sent Karun home,
But, little did he guess, Karun’s only remedy was Google Chrome!
Karun’s disease remained an unnoticed and unsuspected mystery,
Until he disclosed to Varun, while Meeta Mam was teaching History!
The shocking and sickening fact fast circulated far and wide like wild
fire,
“Whom to trust?” then murmured to himself, the gaping Chemistry Sir!
Glossary:
Swishing – hissing/ whistling
Delirious – restless/convulsive
Google Chrome – here, Video Games
Gaping - looking with wide open mouth, as in wonder
