A CHORUS OF THE PET ANIMALS AND BIRDS.
Hark! The following few points must be kept in mind,
Before, O our dear Owners, you keenly look for us to find,
To make us one of the active members of your family,
For whatever may be the weather like Sunny, Rainy and Chilly!
Hark! Love is the more indispensable food that we, the pets, are ever in need,
We can't be tamed by your so-called common means of cruelty, force and greed!
We must, like you, enjoy 'Freedom', our birth right in abundance without fail,
Yes, only by virtue of the winds of your loving Care our life boats smoothly sail!
Hark! O our loving owners, scolding, sticking and chaining turn our life a jail,
Your lack of Trust and laxity of Affection make our Happiness inedible and stale!
Keeping us in a sty like ambience is equal to pushing us relentlessly into a Hell,
And compelling us to live on your leftover dish is our deepest pain and saddest tale!
Thus, may the pitiable chorus of our races be kindly heeded to and abided by,
For, if snaps our elastic patience, our fed up and indignant Union will bid you soon a 'bye'!
