OH! WHEN YOU ARE IN LOVE WITH ONE!

OH! WHEN YOU ARE IN LOVE WITH ONE!

Oh! When you are, with one, in deep and exemplary love,
For whom ceaselessly rise and fall your  rapt, restive palpitations,
Whose sincere love is your loyalest life-running respirations;
Then, how can you forget what serves for your Love as a life taking stab?

Oh! When you are, with one, in pure and platonic love,
For whom alone, catch the eager sails of your life's ship,
Whose devoted love has, over your life, an unshakable grip;
Then, how can you repeat anything that burns your Love as a red Stove?

Oh! When you are, with one, in profound and unalloyed love,
For whom alone, the wheels of your life get a smooth, accelerating speed,
Whose love can prompt you, to the rest of the world, "A glad Goodbye" bid;
Then, how can you, with your incorrigible obstinacy, your Love's Happiness rob?

And, if my questions raised above, are irrelevant and questionable,
It can also be questioned: "Who was Aesop? and when did he ever pen a Fable?"
