TRANSLATED ENGLISH POEM "IT’S GOOD TO BE OBEDIENT."

IT’S GOOD TO BE OBEDIENT.

Let’s, due respect to our parents every moment, pay
Let’s wash our hands before each meal and hygienic stay
Let’s complete morning chores to remain healthy and gay
Let’s avoid tempting outside food to keep diseases at bay!

Let’s watchfully keep to the left while walking on the roads
Let’s fill the open and fallow lands planting trees to check floods
Let’s study as well as play in their respective hours sincerely
Let’s finish our work without sluggishness to save time amply!

Let’s ever give up idleness and indolence, and be up and doing
Let’s beautify our homes by keeping things in orders
Let’s not hurt anyone’s sentiment, and obey our elders
To be great and earn high esteem by their blessings attaining!

Let’s be kind and empathetic towards the birds and animals
Let’s not waste food out of our greed and temptation filthy
Let’s practise regular Yoga and exercise to be fit and healthy!
Yes, we’ll be safe and sound provided we pay heed to vigilance.

1. WE CAN CONQUER THE WORLD.
Hark! All will love us, and all will bless
If we talk sweetly with an alluring and smiling face.
The honey of our syrupy talks will please all hearts,
Let’s ever speak the truth, for lies are filthier than dirts.

We’ll pity the miserable, and render to the sick service,
We’ll be generous to the poor, and be their kind buttress.
We’ll lend helping hands to the old, the kids and the helpless,
Let our toil wane their woes, and blossom on their lips smiles!

We’ll duly respect our parents, and be obedient to them,
We’ll try our best in order to make their days in life’s game.
We’ll study attentively without wasting ever a moment,
And, being good students, we’ll be our teachers’ favourite.

In this way, we can be more lovable than the loveliest gold,
And without an iota of doubt can conquer the invincible world.
