Madness maddens me,
When, in a realm of fantasy, I dream of you!
Sadness saddens me,
When a gulf of separation is between me and you!
Gladness gladdens me,
When I find myself in the blithe company of you!
Restlessness entraps me,
When misunderstanding creeps in between me and you!
Is it a sublime soul’s reasonable rhyme,
An uncontrollable mind's lusty carnal crime,
A crazy caprice’s audible pantomime,
A hallucinative whim’s temporary grime,
A raw reverie’s youthful slime
Or, it is only the ultimate behest of Time?
