A BOUQUET OF GRATITUDE TO RAKSHAK - MY INVISIBLE AND ALTRUISTIC FRIEND
Oh! When the going in life gets tough
When the tides of turbulence grow rough
When the dreams are about to tumble and crash -
From a true Rakshak friend 'myriad new hopes' do splash!
Oh! When it seems a distant possibility to triumph life's race
When life's swift wheels of progress most painfully ebb their pace
When in the feasts of life mirthful celebrations have no place -
A perennial fountain like Rakshak does shower infinite grace and solace!
Oh! When the cruel fate mocks at life and scares to its smiles wreck
When the sadistic world does call you an 'untouchable' and ruthlessly forsake
When the salty water rush in; shakes the kneel steadily, and seems unsafe the deck -
An invisible and altruistic Rakshak is sent by God to save you from a fatal lake!
Thus, one must bow before God and Rakshak with humility and a bouquet of gratitude
And make the most of the shot with more toil and sincerity to soar at an enviable altitude!
