LET ME NOT LIE!

LET ME NOT LIE!

Lying is death,
Rising is life!
Not trying is cowardice,
In one's hand is often one's fate!

Lying fallen is death,
Letting getting misused is cowardice!
Life is raising voice against injustice,
And rising above meanness with Faith!

Lying fallen like dry leaves is death,
Staying like the dumb driven cattle is cowardice!
Fleeing the field before the fight is death,
Embracing death like a hero is never vice!

Lying dormant at one place is death in the interminable strife,
Moving ahead cutting across all the bars and barriers is life!
Thus, let me never lie notwithstanding that I have to die,
For, lying heads one to a hell; rising leads one the high sky!

N.B.: Lying is used as a pun, having 2 two senses. 1. Telling lies. 2. Remaining fallen somewhere.

A REQUEST TO THE ALMIGHTY

A REQUEST TO THE ALMIGHTY

O God! Don't take me to such an arrogant height,
Whence, to descend, there'll be no flight!
Don't replenish me with that much cursed wealth,
Which will wane in Thee, mine even an iota of faith!

O God! Don't embellish me with that much baned beauty,
Which will turn me too lusty to mind my due duty!
Don't endow me with that much perverted fame,
Which will seduce me to forget Thy Sublime Name!

O God! Don't lead me onto such an illusory Highway,
Where Satan will snatch my Scruple's sway!
Don't bestow upon me that much miry mirth,
Which will make futile my life's blissful birth!

O God! Dost bless me with nothing but Thy Mercy Panacea,
Which will redeem my Soul and slay my Divine inertia!

ILLUSION

ILLUSION

When illusion looms menacingly over the weak mind,
The infirm latter can see neither future nor past hind.
Alas! It gropes in the thick dark of confusion to stumble,
And falls finally a prey to woefully groan, grumble and rumble.

When the gullible mind is engulfed by illusion,
It hankers after a vague, shadowy hallucination.
Relinquishing the path of truth and reality, Pursues It a perplexed course of fatal futility.

When the wretched mind is dictated by illusion,
Swayed by Its base and baneful inclination,
Heads It towards a destructive destination,
To end up with remorse, repentance and moan.

Thus, O the willful, insane and obdurate human,
Shun It soon to attain sweet, salvaged salvation.
