DUSSEHRA – A SYMBOL OF POETIC JUSTICE

Dussehra proclaims the death of evil and malevolent spirits,

It blows aloud the triumphant conch of Poetic Justice!

It puts a delectable fullstop to the reign of horror and terror,

It assures the crippled-oppressed of the end of tyrannous fear !

Dussehra ushers in a long awaited dawn of sanguine light,

It relieves the innocent of their inexplicable pain and plight!

It showers profusely permanent peace, prosperity and delight,

Yes, It blesses Victory to the minority Just, Honest and Right!

O Maa Durga! Let Dussehra not lose its real purpose and fervour

Suffocated by the vain and ostentatious pomp, and irreligious river!

Let it not be an opportune moment for some to extract cheap mileage 

Let  it not bestow some with an unwanted and uncalled for privilege!

Let it herald  lasting harmony and happiness for the coming days

Let it lead all, with true devotion, Your fathomless Mercy, to praise!
