TO LORD JAGANNATH, THE OMNIPRESENT!

TO LORD JAGANNATH, THE OMNIPRESENT!

O Lord! Among the thick leaves’ rustles,
In the rolling waves’s rapturous ripples,
In the buoyant peasants' reaping sickles,
I do hear Your Melodious Flute's Whistles!

O Lord! Under the humble barber’s sharp and smooth shaving razors,
Between the sane doctors' pairs of kind-cruel and life-saving scissors,
Beneath the shivering cold removing and comfort pouring geysers,
I do feel only Your generously gifted, unseen and unusual Pleasures!

O Lord! On the swift and selflessly diligent wheels of the trains,
In the mysterious black boxes of the high hovering and soaring planes,
Since the primitive days, in the ever evolving human brains,
I do realize Your never ceasing benevolent and bountiful Rains!

O Lord! In the smiling, succulent orchids, and waving green, golden corn fields,
Behind the valiant warriors’ most protective and safest shields,
Among the clusters of twinkling stars, and in the humblest shrubs and weeds,
I do perceive nothing except Your ever abundant and blissful Yields!

O Lord! In the shy and serene symphony of the newly wedded brides,
In the jubilant shouts of the triumphant teams' glorious rides,
In the sweet Salvation of the life Pilgrims' ultimate flights,
I do behold You showering infinitely the celestial Delights!

O Lord! In the devout prayers of the deprived and the needy,
In the honest sweats of the hard-working, sincere, and steady,
In the unprejudiced decrees of the Juries judicious and just,
I do ever find Your invisible and inevitable Presence is a must!

O Lord! In the Full Moon’s cool, silvery and soothing shines,
In the sky-kissing snow clad peaks; and the lofty, mountain pines,
In the sands, stones, greens, bushes, trees and  medicinal herbs,
I do ever view only Your Omni-pulsating and miraculous Throbs!

O Lord! In millions of Solar systems, and incalculable Light years’ distance,
In the desolate and lifeless deserts; and forests dark, dangerous, dense,
In the dark gorges, deep trenches, huge icebergs, and life sustaining grains,
I do watch Your all permeating, generous conspicuous and unsoiled Lens!

O Lord! In all the so-called man-made inventions and discoveries,
In the visionaries’ dreams; the authors' creative pens and the lovers’ gay reveries,
In the known and unknown; the invaluable human and Natural treasuries,
I do observe prevail Your Seas of Bounties and Your Oceans of Mercies!
