Lo! We, the Indians, never miss to spread Peace,
We never ever wish to chop Love apiece,
We never betray to cull Trust into many a slice,
We never intrude, infiltrate or inflame, for is Vice!
Lo! We believe in mutual agreement and brotherhood,
We harness harmony; neither practise nor allow hegemony,
We honour to maintain stability and respite in our neighbourhood,
We enhance humanism, and avoid what augments mankind's agony!
Lo! We are the worthy Sons of Buddha, Asia's Light,
We hate violence vehemently; and loathe deeply to fight,
We detest strongly homicide; and denounce bitterly bloodsheds,
We condemn critically pseudo Crusades under the garbs of bombs and blades!
Thus, let not our patience be mistaken as our fearful Dumbness,
Let not our Tolerance be misconceived as our Timidity or Cowardice,
Let not our Generosity be misunderstood as our helpless numbness,
Else, brace up to face the sourest Music, and pay an uncountable Price!
