USE AND REMOVE AS SOON AS/NO SOONER……THAN/HARDLY…WHEN/SCARCELY….BEFORE.



Use “No sooner…than”.

Exercise: 1

1. As soon as his worker arrived, he started scolding him.

2. As soon as I got the news, I left for Mumbai

3. As soon as he completes his work, he goes to play.

4. As soon as he saw his friend, he went to speak to him.

5. As soon as he wrote the letter, he posted it.

8. As soon as night approached, the street lights were switched on.

9. As soon as he spoke about her, she arrived.

10. As soon as we entered the forest, we saw a tiger.

Use “Hardly…when”.
