LET’S BE SAFEGUARDED BY THE DETACHED AND DESIRELESS NETS!

LET’S BE SAFEGUARDED BY THE DETACHED AND DESIRELESS NETS!

Oh! The lusty Mosquitoes of nasty desires ever rush around,
Like the uncalled-for, intrusive, invasive and irksome gusts,
To pierce their sharp, blood-hungry tongues, annoy and confound,
Until their victims are stealthily sucked by them, the loathsome pests!

Yes, they do not have any Sense of Person, Time and Place,
Except for a carnivorous greed for their quarries’ blood and flesh!
Their nature is to be ever accompanied by a rigid, frenzied mess,
Alas! They always leave their preys with an irreparable redress!

For a hale and hearty life, they must, at all costs, be kept at bay,
As, while the favourable Sun shines, we make effortlessly useful hay,
Else, we will have to bleed and suffer much, and too heavily pay,
Until and unless we take safe preventives, we block the Recovery Ray!

Let’s, thus, always be safeguarded by the detached and desireless Nets
Or, we can’t fight against the Mosquitoes to enter the sweet Salvation’s Gates!

  1. Lovely. I wish the title of the poem could have been little shorter.
