LET'S NOT CAUSE PAIN TO OUR SAVIOURS!

LET'S NOT CAUSE PAIN TO OUR SAVIOURS!

At a July noon, a young goat was grazing greedily, in a wood, the lush, green grass,
As if it had never relished dishes so mouth- watering and delicious!
It went on cutting, chewing and devouring its food faster even than a mopper,
Ah! It was more joyous then than even a Spring's frolicking grasshopper!

But, alas! a cloud of misfortune fell upon it like a bolt from the blue,
When it was chased by a vicious sloth of snarling and fierce bears in black hue!
But, the Lady Luck saved it as it soon found the thick shrubs and bushes, to hide,
And the deceived and humiliated sleuth ran past it, in vain, only at the cost of its Pride!

But, the treacherous and silly goat chewed up all the protective leaves, its Benefactors,
And showed itself up to be munched and feasted in no time by the returning robbers!
What do we learn from this short and didactic story then?
"Never should we ungratefully cause for our Saviours' pain!
Else, we will, like the greedy goat, be the sure victim of our own mischief,
Even God will not help us, despite being prayed and solicited in our knee-deep grief!

KASHYAP'S DREAM POEM

TO THE DAMSEL OF MY CUPID'S HEAVEN!

O the luscious and lustrous Damsel of my Cupid's Heaven,
Thou art there like a glowing Star to shine my rapt heart's gloomy craven!
Thou art there to end my hunger of thy love with thy bounteous Beauty, and entertain,
Thou art there to irrigate the barren lands of my deserted life with thy eternal enlightenment rain!

N.B. The feelings of the poem of KASHYAP BHATT.

O MY LOVE! WHAT I AM WITHOUT YOU.

O MY LOVE! WHAT I AM  WITHOUT YOU.

O my Love! I am, without you, only a dead heart without the vital breath,
I am, without you, only a live, useless carcass even long before death,
I am, without you, only a pair of slippers even without the much needed soles,
Yes, I am, without you, an aimless, stray wayfarer without any definite goals!

O my Love! I am, without you, a synonym for loneliness and isolation,
I am, without you, a fully equipped fighter jet without any motion and action,
I am, without you, an endless journey without any direction and destination,
Yes, I am, without you, a  life long independent slave without emancipation!

O my Love! I am, without you, a Book without letters, words and sentences,
I am, without you, a grieved Garden of Flowers without aromas and fragrances,
I am, without you, a Hive of fresh Honey without any savoury and Sweetness,
Yes, I am, without you, a FullMoon without any lustre, luminosity and fluorescence!

Thus, O my Love! What I am, indeed, without you, in a nutshell:
I am, like a day of heaven without the Sun, and, without the Moon - a night of hell!

O MY LOVE! LET'S GO.......

O MY LOVE! LET'S GO.......

O my Love! Let's go on a lonely and long sought after drive,
In the pursuit of a permanent and Platonic pleasure;
What is relished only by a few, though for Its heavenly realization, all always strive,
For, for all the dedicated Devotees of Cupid, It is the ultimate and most coveted Treasure!

O my Love! Let's go together, on a smooth drive, on the uneven paths of life,
Nestling on each other's safe and loyal bosom against every adversity knife!
Overcoming all the formidable hurdles we will reach the Lovers' destination,
Bound by our unalloyed Love, we can, finally savour the Ambrosia of Satisfaction!

O my Love! Let's embark on a challenging voyage in the ruffled Sea of life,
Boarding on time the strongest and the securest Ship of our True Love,
Under the sails of our mutual Trust, and with the ores of Fortitude and Verve,
Together, we can defeat the annoying ogres to triumph at length life's stiffest Strife!

Should I be then sure, O my Love, that you are with me in my life's journey,
Or, I am a solitary traveller, the poorest pauper, despite owning all the banks of money!

CIJO JOSEPH SIR'S ANALYSES OF A FEW OF MY POEMS

CIJO JOSEPH SIR'S ANALYSES OF A FEW OF MY POEMS

0. (3176)My creatively positive rumination on a wonderful poem titled " YOUR JOYS MUST MULTIPLY ON THIS DAUGHTERS' DAY! " delineated by Dr. Shankar D Mishra Ji from India.

Dr. Shankar D Mishra Ji,

Your poem titled " YOUR JOYS MUST MULTIPLY ON THIS DAUGHTERS' DAY! " is a poem that acknowledges without a shadow of a doubt a Father's and Mother's great regard for their daughter of multiple traits. She stands by her parents in thick and thin. She always extends her helping hands to her parents. She is confident enough to weather all the storms of life. She never allows herself to be disheartened at any point in life. She endures everything along with her parents. She swims against the currents to reach her goals in life. She bears everything without rising the eyebrows. She never pours cold water on things which are essential for the maintenance of the family honour. She is also someone endowed with humility, humanity, caring mentality, responsible attitude, down to earth in tone and tenor, commitment to the duties assigned to her, dedicated to the works at hand and devoted to her cultures, customs and cultural heritages. Yes, of course, this daughter in question as mentioned in the poem is a person of sum and substance in her words, deeds and thoughts. Let her be blessed and showered with rich tidings by the Supreme Atman all throughout her life. Kudos to you for composing such a poem of outstanding nature.

1. Dear Shankarji,

Your poem titled "Holi in my Life" is a poem of enticing nostalgia, alluring reminiscence and evocative recollections about a bygone era which does kick up a whirlpool of emotions, feelings and sentiments within the self. The festival of Holi celebrated then was marked with few specialities such as the simplicity of it,the indomitable spirit associated with it,the collective consciousness rampant innate it,the community involvement in it,the boisterous environment whipped up by it,the untamed nature of it,the naturality of it,the innocence so tinged with it,the enduring value of it,the creative level of it,the multifaceted style of it and the holistic outlook of it.At the end,a comparison is notched up here wherein today's Holi celebration is matched with the Holi celebration of the past and it has been found that the past celebration does have a soul which is not the hallmark of the present day celebration of the festival of Holi,it is noted that today's Holi celebration is more ritualistic and ceremonial like than anything else.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of formidable and outstanding pedigree.

2. Shankarji,

Your poem titled "O My Love! Let's Soar Faster" is a poem that expounds the most enduring aspect of love that takes place between a lover and his beloved.Love is the universal emotion towering over this world and it evokes so many dimensionalities in every step of the way.In fact, the universe is enfolded in love of the most remarkable pedigree.Love transcends above all petty issues related to the materialistic world. The true love fills the heart with peace and mind with that consolation of rare scale. The true love is inextricably intertwined with spirituality. The spiritual love is constant, interminable, unbreakable and unshakable to the core.Once, spiritual love comes to roost in the two loving hearts, then that love attains its authentic and genuine redemption.Love is a great healer.Where there is true love, all bitter feelings can be set at rest forever.Love can't hurt, show illwill, hoard bad thoughts, create obstacles in the way of others, never intend to put anybody in trouble and never possess, dominate and destroy. When the love of detachment is inculcated, the concept of love reaches its most unselfish realm or domain.Love unlocks everything hidden in this world.Nothing in this world is untouched by love. The travails of life can be set aside by love of sum and substance.True love ignites human minds to achieve their true potentials.True love also activates the discerning cells of the heart to enable an individual to travel through the trajectory of righteousness and innate conviction.Love that is focused upon the eternal reality is the love that we need to pursue because that love does have the power to unleash the enigmatic energies inherent in this world.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of marvellous nature.

3. Dear Shankarji,

Your poem titled "Mother's Heart" is the most significant and invaluable poem owing to the paramount theme dealt with in it concerning the most defining and self-effacing personality here on this Earth.Mother is the sum total of life. The idea of Mother is inexplicable and incomprehensible oftentimes because of the manifold traits inherent in that very word of human kindness and compassion. The more we explore the concept of Mother, the more about her is unveiled in front of us in enormous degrees. In this entire world,we can never come across a human being as down-to-earth, understanding and self-sacrificing as a Mother figure.A Mother protects her child in every step of the way.She defends her child in thick and thin. She is the only reality who is truly caring and loving all throughout. Her love is unconditional, all encompassing and without any expectations. She is an ever reliable person who always looks at issues with a mentality of humility. Her mind always overflows with love for her children.Although, the world indulges in all sorts of avarice acts, the love of a Mother is steadfast, constant, unchanging, irrevocable, uncountable and unfathomable for her children. The world is interested in suffocating to extract maximum out of individuals but a mother allows herself to be negated in order to ensure the future prosperity of her children. She is a person who goes at any length to keep her children's life happy, joyous and brimming with possibilities. In fact, she is a child's God on Earth.Nobody can act in lieu of her in this world at all.She does have the innate specialties in her such as a honest assessment of everybody,a watchful eye to put her children out of harms way,the ever vigilant attitude to create an environment for the success of her children,a vibrant mindset, indomitable spirit, incredible tenacity, spiritual bend of mind and a holistic view of life. So,it is time that we bestow upon her the importance, she richly deserves. If we serve her and take good care of her, then Gods in heaven rejoice in that gesture of ours. But if we try to undermine motherhood, the eternal damnation awaits us undoubtedly.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of marvellous nature.

4. Shankerji,

Your poem titled "Thank You Corona" is a poem that brings into the mainstream the genuine advantages arising out of the spread of the Coronavirus as a pandemic all across the world. The poem begins with the exhortation that Corona is a saving grace for the world although this clear-cut lesson we have learnt through great sacrifices in terms of human lives and freedoms. This Corona has put mankind in all sorts of difficulties and obstacles. The human beings within a span of three months have come to the realisation that they are of no consequence whatsoever in front of the far greater contestant such as the nature. The human beings stand completely exposed and don't know what to do at present. The finest achievements of human beings have no effect in the context of the propagation of Coronavirus all throughout the world and also the biggest machines of the world can not combat this masquerading and marauding virus. The human beings who have put them on the express highway of life are brought to a grinding halt within no time and their homes are turned into their only refuge. This virus has stopped human activities like never before. The various sectors or fields of us human beings which are prevented in their very tracks are our commercial activities, transportation, exchanges of goods and services, our roads, railways and airports, our civil aviation, our agricultural activities and our travel industry. The wounds inflicted upon different sectors of the world economy are enormous, substantial and long ranging as well. All these monumental destructions have been hammered upon the world by a wayward virus which has gone out of control from the human fortresses. But,the Coronavirus has taught us human beings certain lessons of invaluable nature such as ourselves paying attention to spend quality time with our families, persuading us to look at the positive vibes emanating out of nature, renewal of interests in nature, the new awareness regarding the need to take care of the Earth, the imperative of following a lifestyle of sustainable nature, the adoption of a developmental process of ecocentric nature, the uselessness of material prospects in saving lives and the ample respect accorded to the Supreme Being.Yes,new normal has emerged out of this crisis which is hoped to be the beginning of the construction of a novel world of sustainability and general well being of all the animated and the inanimated creatures here on this Mother Earth.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of brilliant nature.

Shankarji,

Your poem titled "Oh! This is Why the World Calls Gandhiji 'Mahatma' " is a poem that narrates the greatness of this unparalleled and unprecedented personality emerging from this great nation of many vibrant vibrations.Gandhiji was a human being who put public interest above his personal interest. He was more concerned with his fellow human beings than himself. He followed the detachment or renunciation principle to serve the wider humanity around. He considered the entire universe as one family. He envisaged a world without barriers, boundaries and constraints. He wanted to build up a world adrift or bereft of biases, taboos, stigmas, inhibitions, discriminations, segregations, divisions and fragmentations. He never promoted hatred rather he propounded the ocean of love.In fact,Gandhiji can be termed as a human being having lived for others than himself, that is why we are proud to call him Mahatma because his life is subtly his message and he was someone who practised what he preached.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of outstanding pedigree on our dearest Father of the Nation.

6. Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"Your Love"is a poem that showers appreciation on a love of blissful pedigree coming from the part that pure source of love signified here as that tender lady or the lover. Her love is warm, refreshing, resuscitating and revitalising,it is equivalent to the rays of the Sun.Her love creates that feel good factor in the individual concerned, her love pervades his entire being,he is cleansed and purified by its mesmerising impact, her love brings a transformative effect to the individual concerned in the poem. Her presence makes the person a figure of calmness, quietness and composed mindset,he maintains an attitude of positivity, happiness and contentment because of this love given to him by this lady of sum and substance.Yes it is an everlasting love which goes beyond the domain of life and travels into the realm of death.Kudos to you again for coming out with a love poem of magnificent nature Dear Shankariji.

7. Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"Yes,I Am a Pedestrian"is a poem that places love above material possessions of the world because the concept of love attains its level best not through material aspects of life but through the right wavelengths of two hearts agreeing consensually to be interlinked and interrelated with each other. If love is categorised through the format of material aspects, that love can't prolong and protract for a long time.So the concept of love is an emotion which is placed over the narrow limitations of glitz and glamour. Here in the poem, although the individual concerned can not afford all those flabbergasting things for his beloved,he offers her a love which is genuine, authentic and original and does overflow directly from the heart, such a love does have a bigger impact than anything else.Kudos Shankariji for writing such a poem of exquisite nature.

8. Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"Please Do Teach Me" is a poem that describes the complexity of love in its various dimensions. There are various types of love dotting this world, they are immaculate love, divine love, marital love, adolescent love, one sided love, unrequited love, unconsummated love, lusty love and love born out of certain self motives.Although we have different kinds of love mentioned here, there is only one definition that can be possibly adduced with real love that is that love is something which can't be altered when altercations pound upon it,love is real, unselfish and unmotivated. But here in the poem love inclines towards a realm of questionable domain because of the undercurrents involved in the entire love relationship.Kudos to you Shankariji for coming out with such a poem of inner indepthness.

9. Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"What Is Then Use?" is about the extolling of the virtues of God Almighty and the eternal worthiness we inculcate in ourselves by our association with him. When we are in his scheme of things, our souls are nourished, our mindsets are revived, our attitudes are refreshed, our mentalities get into positive domains and our entire beings are retuned to the core,in fact we are enriched and enlightened by our constant linkage with him or inextricably intertwined and dovetailed with him.But the moment we rupture our relationships with him,we do develop that negative tinge of mind and we become the children of the Devil and his nefarious and diabolic designs, when we are in that whirlpool of Satan's plans, then our souls are ripped apart, our actions are misdirected and do lean towards negative aspects of life, our words are highly toxic and lethal and our thoughts are overwhelmingly dishonest and insincere and lack any conviction. So it is always ideal to be attached with God every breath of our life. The thing is that although we are showered with millions of blessings,we don't give much importance to God each and every moment of our lives rather when the allurements and enticements do come to us thick and fast,we fall headlong into those temptations. We forget our creator by the drop of a hat,we put him in the backburner on the basis of frivolous of reasons and we are ungrateful to him every now and then, even then he loves us and cares for us,but our inclination towards the evil force is far bigger and mightier than our leaning towards the goodness of God or the amazing things he does to save us and protect us all throughout our lives. Our minds play spoilsport with us when it comes to remaining constantly loyal to God,although our minds display the qualities of wisdom, sanity, sensitivity and sensibility,we do have this kind of attitude because our minds waver, sway and lean towards the evil intentions in a flash while prompted by an external agency, that kind of affinity we tend to have towards evil deeds. Finally we need to stick with God than the Devil one, because God is the eternal truth and the Devil is the eternal untruth.Shankeriji,Kudos to you for composing such a poem of spiritually magnificent nature.

10. Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"I Made Thee Mine Queen" is the discovery of love through the beloved one.The finding of love is a great and unique experience which can transport a person into that realm of vitality and strength physically and qualities related to tenderness mentally. The poem begins with the person so grateful for having found such a revitalising love of profound nature. The person does have absolute admiration for his beloved, that is in a way true also because love makes us take light of many inherent contradictions and inconsistencies in the behaviourial patterns of the beloved, that is why it is said that marry the person who loves you not whom you love,if that is the case that marriage will last long.Love is to be an everlasting emotion which must not be altered when difficulties and obstacles pound and pounce upon it because Cupids arrows that are pierced through a person should remain there for a lifelong period. When love reaches its highest peak, then everything the beloved does, has a dimension inclining towards positivity for the lover. When the beloved is won over after years of persuasive pursuit with burning heart,it is a victory that is to be cherished, but the beloved is not characterised here as an object of desire or a property rather it is a love relationship that is born out of mutual respect for each other and the requisite right wavelengths of both the parties.Kudos to you Shankariji for writing such a poem of magnificent nature on love.

11. Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"When Thou Art Near"is a love poem of sublime nature in every step of the way, when love descends down upon a person, everything is transformed from head to foot, the entire being of the individual attains a new freshness and glow which would linger around the individual for a considerable period of time.Love is like a phoenix bird in the sense that it can bring peace and tranquillity to a society which is in the whirlpool of tensions, worries and concerns.Like a phoenix bird, love can spread peace to a society ridden with violence.Love redefines everything from head to foot,it generates the coolest and the most refreshing of feelings in human beings, that is why it is said by Alferd Lord Tennyson that it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.So love is the alpha and omega of life and we need to be bathed by this emotion of rejuvenating nature.Kudos Dear Shankariji for writing such a poem of magnificent nature on the finest of human emotion called love.

12.Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"Conquest Over Defeat" is a poem of perseverance, determination, diligence, resilience, vigour, grit and vitality, that should be shown by us human beings amidst the difficulties and obstacles, trials and tribulations, highs and lows, ebbs and flows, glitches and hiccups and bottlenecks and travails confronting life as a whole.Look at an ant,how does it overcome the difficulties it is thrown at?What it does is to stay put and fight to the finish,it doesn't give up,it displays that indomitable spirit, courage and conviction to fight on till the very end. When adversities of life pound and pile upon an ant,it does have that alternative way of overcoming the highly insurmountable situations in life. The lesson that is conveyed to us by the persistence of the ant is to be emulated and applied by us in our lives. The effort of the ant brings home to us the message that we need to show that never say die attitude till the intended destination is reached or goal is attained or achieved.Kudos to you Sir for bestowing upon us such a message of refreshing and rejuvenating nature for our minds and hearts to go on with our lives to kiss the roses.

13.Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"Thou Art at my Lap"is poem that establishes the inalienable relationship between God and human beings. The saying goes that if God is with us who can be against us,there is no force on earth who can gang up against a person if God is in his side.God can give a person inner strength, vitality, prosperity, contentment, determination, courage, conviction and moral uprightness.God is also a persuasive force of enduring love, once we come under the love of God,we experience a kind of bliss and ecstasy which can be termed as beyond description, substantial and paramount.God is the sum total of life here on this earth. The poetry of a person attains its sublime status only when that person is touched at the core part of his heart by that Muse of ever creative and aesthetic nature.Kudos Shankariji for writing such a marvellous poem of spiritual dimension.

14.  Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"Yes,It Is High Time"is a vivid description about the dire consequences arising out of a bomb explosion in the midst of a crowd.Today in the world bomb blasts are daily occurrences in which innocent people are needlessly butchered and slaughtered in the streets like cattles, there are many reasons behind these bomb blasts such as ethnic strifes, backlash against the minorities, the avengeful attitude of the people who are wronged, pure personal vendettas and animosities, the long standing simmering tensions between two religious groups and the deliberate attempt to divide societies on caste and race lines. These bomb blasts cause unimaginable sufferings to the poor, downtrodden and innocent people everywhere. These blasts also bring major disruptions to the societies in terms of ripping apart their infrastructures and ways of life. The psychological traumas inflicted by these bomb blasts on a given population coming under their devastating impact are far greater and long lasting than we can ever imagine. So it is high time that we say goodbye to this mode of nefarious warfare.Kudos to you for composing such a marvellous poem setting out the diabolic effects of bomb blasts Shankariji.

15.Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"I" is a poem that obviously reflects the concept of individualism or me attitude or self-centred behaviourial patterns prevalent among the people of our society, the poem begins with the very notion that we people are ready to deploy any unscrupulous and crooked means to attain successes in our lives,in this rat race called the present life we go to any length to employ certain unfair and even diabolic means to accomplish what we intend to do in our lives, even if that would adversely affect the innocent people around in whole different ways,we pretend in our lives to care for others but in the interiors of the interiors of our hearts we don't have any regard for our fellow human beings or the creatures in the flora and fauna kingdoms,we are so cunning that we project deception as something worthwhile and we go hummer and tong to put others in a compromising positions,we also use others as launching pads and punch bags to attain successes in our lives,we go around doing charities for cheap publicities for ourselves,we have the audacity to explain truths as untruths and goodness as badness,we use our glamour and sugarcoated words to make people dance in accordance with the tunes we produce,in fact we make maximum advantage of others,we have the attitude of hiding our real selves in order to go for the domination of this earth,we have the gumption of making a mountain out of a molehill to protect our self interests,we use speeches and words in such a way to play with the emotions of people around,we have the propensity to use our tongues to say things about others which we never really believe or mean, this attitude of human beings of giving too much importance to their selves can be at the cost and expense of others, yes the poem clearly puts forward the view that we live in a world which is prone to individualism and our actions are always influenced by self motives, today in the world'me concept' increases phenomenally compared to 'we concept'or collective consciousness or endeavours and what is the need of the hour is to shed this sickening attitude of individualism in favour of a society of inclusive nature,so no to exclusivism and yes to inclusivism in relation to individuals lives here on this earh.Kudos Shankariji for writing such a poem of magnificent nature.

16. Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"A Kind Word Versus A Harsh Word"is all about how much tremendous impact our good pronouncements can have on the psyche of people around as against bad articulations,it is said that if a person is wounded by a sword, the feeling of hurtness arising out of the infliction such a wound on the person concerned can be healed in the course of time, but the wound sustained on a person due to the use of hurtful words by another person can't be healed all of a sudden,in fact it lingers on for a long time affecting the person psychologically or it will have a greater negative ramification on the mental frame of the person concerned, when we talk to the individuals in a calm, quite, meek, mild, composed, gathered and measured manner,it can have a greater traction on them, the vituperative and vitriolic expressions can only create bad bloods among individuals,we all like a soft spoken person but we all avoid individuals spewing venom from their mouths in the forms of words,we don't like canard either coming at us from others,in a social setting there is ample need to communicate with one another using words that are inspirational and motivating,it is not ideal for going around yelling, shouting and jeering at others, when we talk from the innate goodness of hearts,it will have a transformative positive impact on people in general, today in our electronic media networks we come across people adducing motives and talking ills about others, that can only create a negative society of sort only, when we go around instigating and insinuating others through our words,we bring potential chaotic situations to the society we live in,so it is high time that we speak with thoughtful composure, having said all these things here,I need to stress here that unable to speak out the truths is a bad thing however painful that is to others,we sometimes are pretentious in terms of our words that is a pejorative attitude indeed, but finally we need to encourage, motivate and inspire others through our words, let us do such a thing without flinching.Shankariji,Kudos to you for writing such a marvellous poem indeed.

17. Dear Shankariji,

A Poignant Poem Indeed

Your poem titled"On The Untimely Demise Of Dhan"is a poem of emotionally surcharged nature over an intense personal tragedy of loosing the beloved child, when I red this poem five hours ago,I exclaimed No,not at all it shouldn't happen to anybody in this world,I was at a loss to write anything then,so I postponed writing till this late hour,I know what it means to suffer such a loss, although I don't have any issue of my own since I am a chronic bachelor, but when such losses take place,we don't know how to cope with that or how to reconcile to them, often people who are clamped with such irrepairable losses wander, loiter and roam around in their interiors selves not knowing where to look to get consolation, often such people find certain avenues for comfort to fill up the vacuums arising out such heavy strikes on them, but there are other people who become closer to God as a result of such tragedies,I have come across a few people in my life who had been in such terrible situations, the biggest problem they often had to face was not able to make real sense of their losses,I have also heard people saying time and again after loss 'Why Me',this dilemma is something, people who come across losses have to confront head on,but however psychologically,I try to explicate,a loss is always a loss, what I can say other than this May the soul this Sweetest child rest in peace.

Your poem titled"War" is a perpetual reality that we all go through day in and day out,the fact of the matter is that we are at war with ourselves and our surroundings every now and then,we can't avoid it,in fact there is an inevitability to it all the way,how are we at war with ourselves?let me tackle this question first convincingly,we human beings are aspirational in our tone and tenor, very often these aspirations drive us to a situation of crazy nature,we build up and destroy,we preach but practise something else,we kill to meet our selfish ends,we wage war for making profits and getting hold of the raw materials and natural resources of the bombed countries,we go around manufacturing and producing to lend maximum comfortability to ourselves,we subject people to humiliations and deprivations to meet our own desired ends,we try to build up an inherently unequal society,we indulge in dictatorship and authoritarian attitudes to keep others in tenterhooks,we go around selling weapons of mass destruction which would make this world an unsafe place to live in,we hold nuclear weapons in our arsenals which would have the capability to reduce this world thousand times over and basically and fundamentally we do everything in this world to satiate our desires that is why we allow abhorrent practices such as child labour, trafficking of women, female foeticide, female infanticide, massacres, mass killings, ethnic cleansing, untouchability, casteism, racism, xenophobia, antisemitism and other social upheavals to continue unabated in this world or in our midst, when we take into consideration all these highly degenerative practices we indulge in to fatten ourselves, then yes we are at war with ourselves while living in this world, next we are also at war with our surroundings, how is it possible? It is a nasty reality of human existence here on this earth wherein we go around encroaching upon nature, environment and ecology,we disinherit wild animals of their natural habitats,we pollute our atmosphere and contaminate our water sources and bodies,we release dangerous chemical and biological agents to the environment which would have the capacity to wipe us out from this world,we trespass upon the peaceful co-existence of nature,we eliminate forest coverages and we become the major contributors of green house gases, because we go on in this annihilative vein only,it is said that we are at war with our surroundings,so war is a daily reality for us human beings,in fact war is not all about armed conflicts, war can be waged through our seemingly and apparently nice policies, programmes and strategies,so what is to be done is a real change in our patterns of thinking while framing policies and procedures,in such a way only true peace can be established in this world.Shankeriji, again you have composed a poem of magnificent nature.Kudos to you for writing such a marvellous poem.

19. Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"Let the Lamp of Love Be Lighted to Illuminate the Globe" is a poem that throws light on a different dimension of love altogether, let us look at how the emotion of love is practised and implemented in the world today, first of all love within the institution of marriage, here love is all about a set of responsibilities, obligations and duties especially to the beloved ones,as a result of being in that perpetual motion for the fulfilment of responsibilities, the practice of love is minimal, here by love I mean the time both the partners spend to make a bond with each other, they don't have often time to do such a thing, very often love is practised in the mode of self sacrifice over here, love in the institution of marriage does have another dimension as well, that is that the possessive side of it,here love is done and dusted using that possessive mentality coming from the part of either sides, then we have the love of suspicion that rages there which makes the marital life a real hell, then we have the commercial consideration kicking in to marriage ties that is called the commercialisation of marriages and love, that is why it is often said that there is no genuine love within the institution of marriage now let us look at love outside the institution of marriage, here love becomes a free for all exercise or it becomes a free highway without any toll booths, here love is practised in the spur of the moment, the testosterone driven and materialistic oriented love would always occupy prominent place in this arena, the love relationships outside the institution of marriage can be categorised as extra marital affairs, live in relationships, one night stands and carnal displays, although these things have nothing to do with the real love, still these acts are linked with love, then we have vulgarity and obscenity associated with love, today we have love that transcends above heterosexual relationships into other unions such as through homosexuality, lesbianism, transgender, queer, bysexual and intersex categories,so love as such has attained multiplicity in the present times, but still true love is very much on in this world, that keeps this world intact, love is a powerful emotion which can't be driven away that much easily, love however overstretched does have a trajectory of refinement through which it travels with calm and quiet serenity, truth, tolerance
and peace, let us all get into that dimension of love.Shankeriji, again you have composed a poem of magnificent nature.Kudos to you for writing such a marvellous poem.

20. Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"My Fluke Meeting With A Lovely Lissom Bud" is a poem that narrates the magnificences of nature compared to human community,it is imperative to say here that very often we are imposters in terms of our claim over the mastery of this world,in fact we are elements who are engaged in the destruction of mother earth and may l say here that we are parasites eating the natural beauties of mother earth for our artificial comfortability,a blossomed flower does have a beauty which is natural that can't be matched by any artificial and virtual beauty cobbled together by us human beings,if we can appreciate such endearing and stunning beauties of nature, then we reclaim our true genuine selves in our lives here on this earth, the poem is remainder of the differences between human perception of beauty as against the ways and scheme of things of nature,so go back to nature to add sustainability to this world instead of getting into an artificial world of unsustainable creativity.Shankeriji, again, your poem has given me food for thoughts.Kudos to you for writing such a poem of magnificent nature.

22.Dear Shankariji,

It is not ideal for me to give a critical analysis on the poem titled"A Tribute to a Worthy Friend" written by you about me,but I need to state here clearly that the things you have mentioned in your poem do have 100% traction with me in all respects, never ever I thought of coming into the limelight,I always played from the sidelines,I was even very reluctant to attend any public functions,I do like the small things of life such as helping the family members, being austere in terms of my life, being helpful to others, helping others silently, being on guard against the first sign of arrogance and pride within me,being simple and humble in whatever I do,putting the commercial consideration in the backburner, being a trustworthy companion to others, show an attitude of tolerance to everyone, not hurt anyone through my words, deeds and thoughts, never leave the path of righteousness, follow the principles of humanity and humility in life, show compassion towards fellow creatures in the wild, acknowledge the contributions made by the least, the lost and the last in making my life a worthwhile one, being very minimal in my interactions with others, being a reclusive person always, making my presence felt in the college through my lectures, being a soft spoken person in my private conversations, never putting anybody in the straight jacket, taking a compassionate line in terms of my literary endeavours, ability to resolve crisis in my life counting upon my inner strength and spirituality, being a believer in the Almighty God or Atman,an absolute devotee of Mother Mary, usually a prayerful person before undertaking any major initiatives,no malice towards anybody but charity for all, never talk ill about others, acknowledge the works of people with a humble heart, always in the front of raising my voice in favour of justice, equality, freedom and fair-play,a natural aversion towards the established frameworks, systems and entities, always take a critical view on religions, make a clear-cut distinction between religions and spirituality,a strong supporter of spirituality, think before I speak,a lover of nature, ecology and environment,no bad habits such as drinking, smoking and other immortal acts, strictly a moralistic and ethically based person,do have natural disinclination towards technology and commercialisation,a firm advocate of peace and tranquillity, would like to maintain meek, mild, composed, measured and gathered positive attitude in life, not that much technologically savvy, keep to myself always, write a lot,no serious love affairs so far in my life, being a single, like isolation, alienation and loneliness a bit and lastly but not leastly a family man to the core especially the darling of my mother and father.Dear Shankariji, your poem has given a fantastic exposition of myself.Kudos to you for writing such a poem of exquisite nature.

23.Dear Shankariji,

Your poem entitled"Confusion"dwells deep into the terminology called confusion in an indepth manner, confusion does have a philosophical dimension because the world itself came into existence from a certain amount of confusion only,65 million years ago this confusion was very much apparent in terms of the very existence of human beings, they were in fact so much confused about there future existence and this confusion led to different possibilities for our early ancestors, yes our early ancestors, the mammals, emerged as forces to reckon with in this world because of the chaotic situations that prevailed here on this earth due to paramount natural calamities such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions,in these natural confusions only,we thrived and succeeded because these apocalyptic events wiped out the biggest creatures here on this earth, dinosaurs then, again confusions such as the Great Ice Age and the Continental ruptures from a single entity only paved the way for our early ancestors to consolidate their position here on this earth. Then various moral and ethical confusions, the world faced in the form of multiple isms such as Fascism,Nazism,Capitalism,Communalism,Communism,Terrorism,Sectarianism,Maoism,Naxalism and Sexism and so on and so forth, the world also witnessed political, social and environmental confusions such as civil wars, ethnic cleansing, genocide, sectarian killings, terroristic acts, institutionalised violence, radicalisations, revolutions, ethnic strifes, climatic changes, degradation of nature and degeneration of ecology. So confusion was the order of day in the past, from which only changes of positive and negative kinds occurred to this world,so confusion as such can't be taken lightly because it is a two edged sword, yes confusion can be avoided if we do unto others what we want others to do for us,from there only a society of peace and tranquillity can emerge and flourish.Shankariji, you have delineated a poem on a topic which does have a cosmic dimension in its very composition.Kudos to you for composing such a marvellous poem.

24. Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"Sadness in my Life" is autobiographical in its very composition and make-up,here is a child, who went through an emotional roller coaster ride all throughout his childhood and adolescent days before he came to reconcile with all the difficulties and obstacles of his past life, here is child who lost his father in an untimely manner or prematurely way due to the crook of fate,it was a thunderbolt to him to have been deprived of his father at that tender age which plunged him into emotional and financial turmoils especially the travails he had to encounter due to that heavy loss, but he overcame everything using the indomitable spirit within him and he emerged victorious at the end of it all, then a peculiar psychological situation sprouted up in his life that was all about the possibility of having bitterness towards the deprivations and impoverishment of the past, but he chose the path of reconciling with each and every sad situation of the past which made him very stronger, now he is a grown up man having an emotional stability of rare kind in his life.Shankariji, you have written a poem concerning yourself with a kind of unique sensitivity which must be appreciated to the hilt.Kudos to you for writing such a poem of magnificent nature.

Your poem titled"The God Created a Deputy Called Mother" is a resounding tribute to all mothers here on this earth, mothers are the salt of this earth, they are the touchstones of human existence, without them this world is a moribund place with no substance and credibility, they play the roles of the representatives of God in terms of human growth and advancement, when adversities confront humanity, they go for that higher pitch of resilience to overcome all difficulties, they have the capacity to add a calming influence to an arena filled with tensions, worries and concerns. They can be truly termed as the real sustainers of humanity through their acts of immaculate makers of humanity, they mould, shape and form humanity into conveyors of life giving energies in this world, they motivate, encourage and inspire humanity through acts of determination, vigour, grit and vitality.Kudos to you Shankariji for writing such a poem of magnificent nature on this day devoted to all mothers in this world.

25. Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"Let's Prepare for a Memorable Picnic" does shed light on the ways in which a picnic must be planned, conducted and arranged from A to Z,there are also certain donts given in the poem meant for those people who go for tours,a picnic is undoubtedly a time for enjoyments, but our enjoyments must not cause disturbances to anybody at any rate,we shouldn't do anything during a picnic time which would put others in discomfort, let us take a look at here how people at the present day conduct picnics, very often they consider these occasions as free for all times, they hire AC buses where they play loud music numbers even at the dead of night, this blaring of music disturbs the people during the night time, they also carry liquor bottles and soft drugs in the buses and they take these items to get into high moods, they don't carry food items rather they frequent the bakeries during the tour programme and swallow all junk food items, they carry surgery, carbonated and salty food items in plastic and polythene bags to the naturally scenic places they visit and they deposit these bags over there, thereby making those places garbage dumps, they also draw pictures on the walls of the historical buildings they visit thereby desecrating these places, they have no civic sense while going for picnic because of that their picnics would only create mental agonies to others and they don't get any relaxation of these picnics for which often these picnics are conducted in the first place. So when we go for picnics we shouldn't do anything that would put further pressure on the people of the places we visit or our visits shouldn't bring ecological and environmental disasters to these places through our excesses over there. So it is high time that we behave our best during the time of picnics.Kudos to you Shankariji for writing such a poem of extraordinary nature about a theme of everyday consequence.

26.Dear Shankariji,

Your poem titled"Time" is a rare breed in terms of its beauty and vibrancy because time is the essence of life from the beginning to the end,at the origin of the universe,a time scale was charted out by even the creator,he created this universe within a time span, then he took rest, later on time became the focal point of life because without it the early human beings could not live in an orderly and systematic way,the ancient human beings determined time as per the movements of heavenly bodies, this is all about primitive way of calculating time, but in course of time it changed into a sophisticated format wherein time has started managing our affairs from morning to evening, today without the intervention of time we can't go on quite easily, all our functions are operated upon using the mechanism of time, our activities such as birth, education, commerce, office works, public functions, social gatherings, entertainment options and even relationships are conducted using a time scale.Today we are in the process of inventing time machines which can send us into the past to effect changes in our past to change our present or these time machines may attain the capability of sending us into the future so that we may be able to prevent our future fates by acting upon them at the present juncture,so time is the paramount and apex force virtually leading our lives from the front stage.Dear Shankariji, you have dealt with a theme in your poem, which is the basic and fundamental aspect of life and existence.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of tremendous pedigree.

27. Dear Shankariji,

Your poem on Lord Buddha has brought into the limelight many issues of relevance in a society caught in the whirlpool of perpetual conflicts something completely diametrically opposed to the ideals expounded and propounded by Lord Buddha.Lord Buddha was a personality of renunciation of whatever he had,in fact he was leading a cosy life within the four walls of his palace, but the scene related to death prompted him to come out of his cocoon of comfortable and luxurious life into the domain of austere lifestyles, one fine day he left the confines of his palace walls to explore the troublesome and hard realities oriented life of the people outside, yes his inner voice was leading him to start a spiritual reformation and renaissance of the society in which he lived in,he attained enlightenment while sitting under a Banyan tree which was all about spreading and propagating the messages of peace, tranquillity and non-violence which were essential during that time as it is imperative now, today Lord Buddha's enduring principle of non-violence is all the more important because of the type of violent and conflict ridden world in which we live in,if we don't follow his principle of non-violence in relation to the resolution of conflicts brewing across the world, the days are not very far when our very existence in this world is threatened beyond redemption,so let us follow the footsteps of Lord Buddha by adhering to his principles of non-violence,tolerance and accommodative stances to one another.Dear Shankariji, you have again shown that your heart is in the right place in terms of understanding the inevitable principles that are needed for keeping the equilibrium of this world intact.Kudos to you for writing such a marvellous poem on such an immaculate and towering personality such as Lord Buddha.

28. Dear Shankariji,

The poem titled"Your Beauty" is an apt narration of the beauty innate in an individual which evokes divergent and multiple reactions from all those people who are exposed such refined and immaculate beauties of sum and substance, here I would like to stress that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, one person's perception of beauty is quite different from another person's perception of the same thing,so beauty is so transitory in nature and it is very subjective in its demeanours,we can't pigeonhole it rather it takes various dimensions in the assumptions of individuals coming from various backgrounds and antecedents,so attempting to define beauty is fraught with so many unforeseen loopholes and glitches, beauty can't be predetermined and premeditated because it can be subjected to multiple changes in the course of time, nobody can give it a set definition, the external beauty of a person is prone to decay, that is why it is said that external beauty of a person is less important compared to his/her internal beauty, the internal beauty of a person defines himself/herself.In the present world, people are crazy about external appearances, they go at any length to look beautiful and while doing that what they basically do is to denigrate their own selves,in fact they are very conscious of their external appearances because they want to impress others through externalities rather than their internal goodness, today we have hallowed mindsets and ornamental external demeanours displayed by the people at large,it is subtly a pretentious attitude indeed emerging out of the part of the people. The obsession with self image is such that certain people aren't satisfied with how they look and they run from pillar to post in the social media networks to improve their self images,in fact they think that their self images do go a notch higher if they get maximum likes, shares and comments in social networking sites, the Selfie Culture is an adequate example to this nasty addiction with the quest to improve one's self image.Today in the world, the industry that does have a major sway in the commercial world is cosmetic industry, this industry uses the fragility of the human minds in terms of looking good by making use of such artificial items to its full advantage, this industry flourishes because of the overwhelming fickle minded attitude of the people to produce a version of themselves which is quite apart from what they actually are. Finally beauty is all about what beauty does,a person may appear very refined and polished in his/her external appearance, but in the mind he/she can be considered as rotten potato and tomato,so real beauty must be linked with the actions of an individual not his/her mere words.Shankariji,as usual you have done complete justice with respect to the main theme of the poem.Kudos to you for writing such a poem of magnificent and highly relevant nature.

30. A real friend is the touchstone of companionship and it is said about a good friend that if there is a good friend then there is no requirement of a mirror.A real friend is a friend in need.A real friend stands rock solid behind you thick and thin.A real friend doesn't have any malice but charity for all.A real friend is not jealous but helps you to grow in multiple ways.A real friend is the one who doesn't desert you when difficulties and obstacles pounce and pound upon you.A real friend is unselfish and unbiased to the core.A real friend lets you go because he/she loves you more than him/her.A real friend sacrifices everything for the sake of you.A real friend loves you more than himself/herself.A real friend does things for you when you only think about it.A real friend comes down to the pit of humiliation to put you on a pedestal.A real friend never shouts, yells and jeers rather smiles, consoles and encourages you.Yes a real friend is God personified in humanity.Yes the poem pays rich tributes to the value of a friend in our lives.Kudos to you for writing such a poem of magnificent nature.

31. Shankarji, Your poem titled "O My Love! Let Me... " is a poem about the harmonious inclination between two lovers in the whirlpool of physical proximity and wonderful bodily synthesis. When the passion of love is unleashed,it travels through the domain of attachment to the blending of two hearts culminating in the redemption of the concept of in stock, block and barrel in every sense of the term. The search for true love is an arduous task, but once it is located, the unveiling of it in a proper way is a Herculean Task indeed. But,here in the poem, love starts gushing out to reach its destination not in bits and pieces but in leaps and bounds. In fact, love is an art because it does have in it three essential ingredients related to an exquisite art work such as cognitive power, imaginative wavelength and full-fledged emotional vibe. Here,in the poem, the trait of love reaches its pinnacle of glory and zenith of power in an accurate and precise manner.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of marvellous nature. Cijo Joseph Chennelil. Kuravilangad 2021@ 32. Dear Shankaraji, Your poem titled "Betrayal" is a poem which spells out about an awkward and "you too Brutus" sort of nefarious act which can put our life into a topsy-turvy and rough and tumble situation. The act of betrayal is nasty and akin to treason.Once,we are in the stranglehold of it,there is no escape from its suffocating grip.Since, betrayal is carried out with a smiling face,it is very difficult to detect it.Since,it is effected on someone in a clandestine manner using pretentious stance,it is very cumbersome to pinpoint it.The very description of betrayal is a hard act to follow because it is done employing sugarcoated words which are often bandied about to hoodwink the unsuspecting prey. Those who engage in the act of betrayal don't have a tinge of mercy, compassion, humility and humanity in them.In order not to be in the vicious circle or mesmerising impact of betrayal,we must be tactful, vigilant and careful. We can keep at bay the act of betrayal by not believing in things without fact checking or close scrutiny or stark verification.Today,in our world, people are manipulated and indoctrinated through paid, fake and concocted news items and propaganda materials.Such tendencies can only create a world of untruthful and illogical nature. Those people who resort to the act of betrayal should be nipped in the bud in terms of their negative act,so that world can get rid of this diabolical act called betrayal once and forever.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of marvellous and fantastic nature. Cijo Joseph Chennelil. Kuravilangad 2021@ Dear Shankar Ji, Your poem titled "How Real The Modern Man's Love For The Environment Is" does lay bare before us the hypocritical and pretentious attitude of us human beings when it comes to our approach towards the protection of the environment, ecology and nature. We speak volumes about issues related to environmental preservation, but for the slightest of our construction activities,we cut down our trees with no mercy and compassion. We use all the chemical fertilizers to toxify our soil and contaminate our water sources. We also use genetically modified seeds which can have far reaching consequences for humanity. We experiment with pesticides to drive away so called pestilence ridden multitudes which can be a subtle case of our undoing and disservice to the Mother Earth. Our love for the environment is skin deep and hollow. We never spare wild animals instead we poach them like anything. We deliberately destroy our forest coverages in order to engage in anthropocentric deeds and requirements. We resort to mining activities to reduce the Mother Earth to ashes. We put in place quarrying to do irreparable impairment to our mountains and hills. We produce green house gases aplenty which can lead to the global warming phenomenon further. We manufacture biological, chemical and technological weapons which do have the capability to obliterate the world thousand times over.We throw our garbage in the open space and we deposit our effluent in the virgin lands.Yes,we human beings are the worst parasites here on Earth annihilating her slowly but surely.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of marvellous nature.
