LET'S NOT CAUSE PAIN TO OUR SAVIOURS!

LET'S NOT CAUSE PAIN TO OUR SAVIOURS!

At a July noon, a young goat was grazing greedily, in a wood, the lush, green grass,
As if it had never relished dishes so mouth- watering and delicious!
It went on cutting, chewing and devouring its food faster even than a mopper,
Ah! It was more joyous then than even a Spring's frolicking grasshopper!

But, alas! a cloud of misfortune fell upon it like a bolt from the blue,
When it was chased by a vicious sloth of snarling and fierce bears in black hue!
But, the Lady Luck saved it as it soon found the thick shrubs and bushes, to hide,
And the deceived and humiliated sleuth ran past it, in vain, only at the cost of its Pride!

But, the treacherous and silly goat chewed up all the protective leaves, its Benefactors,
And showed itself up to be munched and feasted in no time by the returning robbers!
What do we learn from this short and didactic story then?
"Never should we ungratefully cause for our Saviours' pain!
Else, we will, like the greedy goat, be the sure victim of our own mischief,
Even God will not help us, despite being prayed and solicited in our knee-deep grief!
