DIVINE CRAZE
Lo! As a small patch
of cloud devours
Effortlessly the
grotesque, glazing Sun
Reducing His ardent
light, pilfers life rendering powers
Making Him dull, drab
and invisible sans precaution;
Yields a millions of
eclipses, darker than black clouds
A divine defiance;
beckons ruins, and progress shrouds!
O God how much one may
have affluence
But, but for Thy
divine, efficacious Grace
One lives in penury,
scarcity and indigence,
Confined to rot inside
the Interminable Fence !
Hence, O God! Please thicken
my beliefs in Thee
More than the roots
of a tree that grasps to the soil.
Grant me peace,
serenity and beatitude ineffably
Come may storms or
quakes, calmly Thou wilt foil!
* Interminable Fence –
the mundane earth

No matter what our circumstances - the high life or its opposite ....unwavering faith in the benificence of God's grace is our saving grace......where else to go.....whom else to turn.....who knows what we need before we utter one word of supplication....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful phrasing....the totality of faith....thanksgiving....joy in the Almighty One for all gifts.....blessings......
steadfast love no matter how many times we ignore our duty to do good always......
Wonderfully woven words!
