O ADDICTION!
O Addiction! What
a rare stuff you are made up of!
You are as
impregnable as a Rhino skin inflexible and tough,
As incredible as
the very apt word “Incredibility” itself,
Oh! Unbuyable you
are by any price of the mundane pelf!
Yes, you are more
independent than a jolly bird in the free sky,
As unbudgingly
capricious as an obdurate and grimy human lie,
As slyly elusive
as an inimitable and inscrutable enigma,
Oh! You are never
mindful to a swift and unwanted stigma!
Oh! You can effortlessly
vanquish a chameleon in changing hues,
Can camouflage
yourself beneath the bushy and Breaking News,
You are never
that, that over his pitfalls, ever regrets, repents or rues,
You, like
Kangaroo kids, inherently adhere to your impractical views!
Yet, despite all
your ugly negativities, commendable is your rigid fragility!
Had all men
practised sincerely since time immemorial your only ‘Positivity’,
Human evolution
could have surely been more substantial and delicious
Oh! Mother Earth
could have been a sweeter Heaven precious and pious!
