PLEASE, DON’T……..
Please, don’t ever hanker after what is called Unreality!
Alas! It will have an adverse outcome on your Duty,
It will drive you away from surety, indemnity and Reality,
Oh! It will lead you to nowhere but a rueful land of futility!
Please, don’t rebel against what has already been granted by
Destiny.
Lo! You are ever blessed with only after much flawless divine
scrutiny!
What is the meaning of an unreasonable and inconsequential
Self-mutiny?
Hark! Your willful, unruly Insanity will woo for you an incurable
agony!
Please, don’t ever intend to tempt to Use, or be tempted to be
Used,
Don’t take advantage of one’s helplessness; else you won’t be
excused!
Don’t misuse power or position which is undoubtedly worse than
treason,
Don’t dig your own ditch of death drinking the formidable, baneful
poison!
Please, don’t do indulge yourself in anything Self-eroding and
Self-spoiling
Don’t kill an Albatross of Innocence to adorn your neck with Its
dead Ring!
Don’t let Self-ruination lurk in the undergrowth of your
unforgivable mistake,
Don’t compel Good Fortune to abandon you as garbage and
relentlessly forsake!
Oh! Don’t run a destructive dagger in anyone’s soft and
susceptible Heart,
Don’t play ever in your most precious life a worst and most ignominious
part!
Don’t powder your chameleon-like face with the most fulsome and
filthiest part,
Lest you should pitiably deprive yourself of a certain, celestial
Salvation’s slot!
N.B. In the poem “The Ryme of the Ancient Mariner” written by T.S
Coleridge, the ancient mariner is forcefully slung a
dead Albatross, instead of the Cross, round his neck, as a
measure of atonement, as he had killed the sea bird without any cause of
provocation.
