DON’T
Don’t drop a mass
of rock of chaos into a still lake of the mind,
Don’t swim on the
surface of superficiality, valued pearls, to find;
Don’t grind the trifling
husks to garner any grain of essence,
Don’t cook
nothingness on the fire of anger to serve non-sense!
Don’t dive headlong
into a dry and waterless river of pettiness,
Don’t jump to a
hasty, raw and blind conclusion of emptiness;
Don’t beat about
the bushes to pluck the soft roses of worth,
Don’t butcher anyone’s
happiness to muster your own Mirth!
Don’t live in a world
of hollow and hallucinatory reveries,
Don’t tend
brambles of nuisance to pluck sweet strawberries;
Don’t throw nets
in the deserts to catch sustenance fish,
Don’t fancy passing
life’s Test by losing Conscience Leash!
Thus, don’t try
anything futile to prove to be an exceptional one,
Lo! Only a hallowed
humanity, not triviality, makes one a Human!
