TO MY SWEET HEART

TO MY SWEET HEART

In case, under any pressing or crushing circumstances
Thou art blown away to far off and invincible distances
By the ruthless gusty gales of pungent helplessness,
Construe it not that thy sweet heart is ever faithless.

When the tempest of mistrust doth snatch thee from me
There rigidly and loyally in thy breathings I wilt be,
To maketh thee feel my sincerest, sweetest  presence
To proveth till thy last journey my rare rich essence!

I may not be physically mating with thee
But, who canst deprive us of our supra-mundane glee
That is past access of the distracting, external foes?
Oh! In my heart’s Eden, thou wilt be the same Rose.

Thus, may no misconception misguide my sweet heart
“Pure love is neither soiled nor spoiled till the very last.”

*pressing -  urgent
