OH! PARENTS’ LOVE

OH! PARENTS’ LOVE

Parents, like the rare gardeners,  do sow human seeds
With so sweet dreams on their beds of life gardens!
Do warm them with love heat, and water with care rains
Until they do sprout and evolve into special breeds!

Parents, like the caring gardeners, tend kids-saplings
With tender compassion, affection and timely service,
Unique devotion, dedication and invaluable sacrifice
Until making them as valuable as diamond Rings!

Yes, no pebbles unturned they do ever leave
Until their promising plants grow impressively to live
Even longer than the gigantic, enduring banyan trees,
All that they do merely drawing sopping  hardship fees!

Alas! Little do they ever dream in their wildest nightmares
They will be, one day, deprived of shades, let alone fruit cares!
They will be abandoned like abominable snake sloughs,
Oh! they will be blown out like filthy mucus and coughs!

Ah! They are returned their vital water in the form of hot tears
They are reciprocated with biting sneers and piercing jeers!
They are no longer in the scheme of things like dry tree barks
Alas! They are found begging for Mercy in stations and  parks!

My greatness! Still they curse not their own ingrate bloods
Still they devoutly pray for them, being whirled in pain floods,
Hence, their matchless Love is equal to that of god and goddess
Oh! Who, even from their graves, still love their kids, and bless!
