LOVE: THE PLATONIC AND EUPHORIC DROPS OF AMBROSIA

Love is what steals naps, sleeps and slumbers from the eyes

Love is what make fools even the witty, sane and wise!

Love is what is called a divine, palpable blessing in a guise

Love is what is more valuable than any other mundane prize!

Love is what binds two true hearts so firmly together

Love is what is even as light as the lightest feather!

Love is what instils zeal and gusto to face every weather

Love is what sweetens moments; teaches never to bother!

Love is what preaches always to willingly give and sacrifice

Love is what inculcates to pay for Love’s sake any costly price!

Love is what imbibes in two hearts to have concerns for each other

Love is what is an upward marching Chariot, retreats never further!

Love is what is termed the platonic and euphoric drops of Abmrosia

Let all lovers relish them as once did the pair of Bassanio and Portia!

*platonic – nonphysical

*euphoric – overjoyed/ joyful

*ambrosia – nectar

*nap – a short sleep/rest

* slumbers – sound/deep sleep

* witty – clever

* sane -  sensible

* palpable – clear/ conspicuous

* mundane - earthly

 * instils– infuses/ puts in

* zeal – enthusiasm

* gusto – enthusiasm/ delight

* inculcates – instills

* imbibes in – absorbs/ takes in

* retreats – moves back/ withdraws

* termed – named

* relish – enjoy/ take pleasure in

* Bassanio and Portia – the hero and heroine in the play “The Merchant of Venice” written by Shakespeare. Both were loyal and loving to each other in their pure love. Portia sacrificed a lot for her love, Bassanio.
