Conquest over Defeat

CONQUEST OVER DEFEAT

Can a scared canoe surpass high tides
A daunted dog prey if it hides
A fierce fighter fizzle out in the fight
The perseverant be divested of day light?

When perspiring a thousand times down does fall
A tiny food-crumb carrying ant to ascend on a precipitous wall,
Yet, it injects its self aplomb in each vein with fortitude
Ascents and descents and vice versa persist to a multitude;
But, all its endeavours bear smiles of fructification
To chant: “The perseverant become triumphant in the long run.”

A sanguine diver dips in the deep ocean
Though very often hollow handed he returns,
Yet, his verves overcome his fleet, fragile failures
Invites the fathomless water to quest for rare pearls;
But frequents not he back with sordid, sullen fists
To chant:“The perseverant aren’t damped by deterrent mists.”

Failure is a taunting challenge, take it soon on
To detect thy defects and diagnose, be ever prone,
Shun thy slumber unless the Ultimate Goal is got
Desert not the Kurukshetra until the debacle is fought;
To chant: “Eulogy trumpets blow not sine any floral feat
The steady perseverant compel defeat to bow at their feet!”

N.B: A very small effort to compose a poem on the famous Hindi poem “HAAR NAHI HOTI”. SO FAR AS THE POET IS CONCERNED, THERE ARE DIFFERENT OPINIONS ON NET. SO, THE POEM IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE POET.

(Koshish karne walon ki kabhi haar nahi hoti)

 SURYA
