LABOUR’S FLAVOUR

LABOUR’S FLAVOUR

Dip, dip in the deep river of labour
Your rigid sins of sloth and laziness will shiver.
You will be blissfully blest with Bounty’s favour
You and ‘wants’ will be easily estranged forever.

Rub, rub the royal Sandalwood of labour
It will soon the fragrance of success deliver.
It will make you a lovely and worthy liver
Lo! It is the panacea to your painful penury fever.

Stud, stud your life’s crown with the gems of labour
It will keep dazzling brightly even in the nights darker.
It will pave your ways for your perennial Joy’s coronation
From the awful pangs of bondage it will confer liberation!

Scale, scale the stiff and steep steps of labour
You are sure to relish nectaric Salvation’s flavour.
