Paariba ke gani?
Swachha sama paani
Hrudaya ra raanee,
Ki aananda shuni
Shumadhura baanee!
Dure tume thaaka
Laaga aakha paakha,
Mana bhari mo premaku
Tume sadaa chaakha….
Aakhi buji dekha
Ki sathik laakha!
Sapanara kaagaja re
Prema patra lekha!
Tuma guna jaani
Prema jaala buni
Tuma ku mu aani
Kali Paata Raani!

I MADE THEE MINE QUEEN
Oh! Indebted indeed I am to thee
For having found thy covetous love.
How virtuous art thou, my sweetie!
Thou art all calculations above!
As conspicuous as water thou art
O the darling Queen of my heart!
How much I do enjoy and rejoice
When I listen to thy compelling voice!
Thou art at a great distance
Still, so close to my Cupid’s glance!
Ah! Thou revel and relish to the hilt
The inimitable Love-Dome I built!
Thou canst see me with closed eyes
Thy target ever wins many a prize!
On the pages of dreams, o my globe,
Thou writest to me letters of Love!
Much aware of thy enviable qualities
Weaving an enchanting net of Love
I won thee, o my wondrous globe
I made thee mine Queen of Beauties!
