A TV VERSUS A BOOK
A TV is a live, junk Box, appallingly appealing, spoiling and idiotic,
It thieves the thriving concentration of the gaping mind!
It turns the ignorantly relishing viewers addictive and eccentric,
It tempts the blind, innocent students to keep their studies behind!
But, a Book is a world - beautiful, wonderful and fantastic,
It slowly percolates in, the drops of senses, lasting and sweety!
It impels to emulate the thought waves, delightful and didactic,
It transforms the aping brutes into humans enhancing their Inner Beauty!
A TV turns the creative oases of minds into dull, insensitive deserts,
It stunts the spontaneous growth of the imaginative mind buds!
But, a Book blesses greenery of wisdom even in the illiterate rocky terrains,
A devotee of Books is ever fed by It's enlightening Knowledge rains!
Thus, let not TVs infect the susceptible minds as the TB germs,
Let the Books rule to pour blissful joys, beatitudes and charms!
* Percolate - sink in
* Emulate - follow
* Didactic - having educational value
* Versus - against
*Susceptible - easily attracted to something wrong, harmful or bad thing
* Beatitude - a state of extreme happiness
