PRESENCE AND ABSENCE
It’s indeed so eerie, weird and strange
Is past my mild mind’s perception range.
Ah! Darkness descends in someone’s bitter presence
While the same alights at another’s unsought absence.
Some are always accompanied with scary, chilling gloom
In their unsolicited presence does adversity large loom
Tears well up, in a trice, at their loathful, odious look
Their repulsive actions feed a perennial sorrow brook!
Still others are the efficacious balms for the adversity ache
They heal grief hurts with their Panacean, soothing lake
They are the miraculous mirth Suns to bask to the hilt
They are wipers of the tear rains and cleaners of anguish silt.
It’s really a heinous curse to be placed in the former’s tribe
Ah! What a blissful, merciful Heaven is the latter to be!
