AN EXAMPLE OF AN EXEMPLARY FRIENDSHIP
Who can show me a more faithful, closer friendship
Practised by the shining Sun and the blooming lotus?
No sooner does the former wink, than the latter does rush
To show their solidarity like the firm keel and steady the ship.
Who can show me a stronger, more exemplary tie
Than that of the ethereal Lotus and the scintillating Sun?
Who under no circumstances sever, and each other belie,
Excel in excellency – an unprecedented phenomenon.
Who can show me a sweeter, more soothing harmony
As these two true Natural companions maintain and retain?
Even Q and U sometimes fail to, that adherence, sustain
Their celestial counterparts’ inseparable silent symphony.
Let’s, all unanimously, pursue their rare, praise-worthy footstep
To immortalize friendship and embellish its unalloyed Shape.
