THE BOSOMS
Who has seen the niche
That's ever been a safe and obtrusive haven
For the bitterest tears and the hottest bleeding sweats,
That's ever been a proven opulence of fathomless patience;
That ever soaks as sponge
The showers of pain and undue retributions?
One must have the eyes to perceive
The the perennial cascades of tears
The suffocating chimneys of depression and doldrums
The incredible powers of tolerance of sufferance
And their corresponding excruciating and pathetic aftermaths......!
Still, it keeps smiling while sipping the hemlock of hostilities
To wrap up its pungent and awful tastes,
Like Hercules it keeps shouldering the burdens of the world
Without any audible groans or grumbles....!
As the bleeding soles alone can feel the aches of the penetrating nails
So are the grinding adversity
absorbed unseen by the bosoms only
Under an interminable games of hide and seek forever........!
That which has been passing through the tempestuous weathers
Since birth silently accepting them as the inseparable parts of life
And treasuring them as the costliest wealth Days and nights together without any protest is universally called "The Bosoms".
