ଓଡ଼ିଆ କବିତା "କିସ ନ ଦେଖିଲା ନେତ୍ର!" TRANSLATED ENGLISH POEM "WHAT A SIGHT MY EYES DID FALL UPON!"

ବି. ଦ୍ର. ଉପରୋକ୍ତ କବିତା ଟି Dr. Durbadal Meher, ପୂର୍ବତନ ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ, ଓଡିଶା ସରକାର, ଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ରଚିତ ଓ ପୁରୀ ରୁ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ଅଧ୍ୟାତ୍ମିକ ପତ୍ରିକା "ଦିବ୍ୟ ଦର୍ଶନ" ର 5ମ ସଂସ୍କରଣ ରେ ମୁଦ୍ରିତ ହୋଇଅଛି l ପତ୍ରିକା ଟି ଗତ 23 ତାରିଖ (ପବିତ୍ର ଅକ୍ଷୟ ତୃତୀୟା) ଦିନ ଉନ୍ମୋଚନ ହୋଇଛି l ଏପରି ଏକ ସୁନ୍ଦର ରଚନା ର ଇଂଲିଶ ରୂପାନ୍ତର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅନୁମତି ଓ ସୁଯୋଗ ପାଇଥିବାରୁ ମୁଁ ନିଜକୁ ଭାଗ୍ୟବାନ ମନେ କରୁଛି l 

WHAT A SIGHT MY EYES DID FALL UPON!

Oh my goodness! What a sight my eyes did fall upon!

It's, without doubt, the sweet spectacle is beyond oblivion.......

O dear Sakshi! I'd been to Kalandi Lake to fetch water,

But, why would I envision as if I were blissfully lost in a trance,

That I would be hypnotized  and transfixed as soon as my gaping glance

Stumbled upon Mohan's celestial and supra- mundane Figure?

O my Sakshi! I had never dreamt even once such a charming voice

Would breeze into my ears while I'd be lazily descending down the steps

And dipping slowly my surahi into the river bubbling and fresh!

That ecstatic melody soon permeated into the whole of my being

And stirred my soul and kindled my psyche;

The seeds of impulses and inclinations

got detached from the firm ring

Of patience, consciousness and resolution at its irresistible magic!

When turning up my face at a leisurely pace

Towards the Kadamba root I did cast my eager glance ,

I was spontaneously spellbound and speechless

At Mohan's empyrean elegance, ebullience and exuberance!

Oh! His grace and beauty is a Paradisiacal lotus pond of radiance

At whose Elysian bluish resplendence;

My eyes, as the fishes get easily enslaved by  water's blueness,

Get rapturously ensnared to adore the same to excess........!

The sparrows of my eyes are wide awake to eulogize His indigo hues

And be blessed with His Love Panacean!

Pines and opines the poet in raptness and isolation,

"Gifted, I'd surely embrace for His transcendental association!"

But, alas, deprived he awaits and rues....!
